Second question was a typo. Basically "Why did you apply for this stream?" i.e. at a big 4 accounting firm grad program and you choose a specific area of business they offer.

Just explain why you were interested in that stream.
If you aren't generally interested in that stream, don't apply for it. Pick the one you are interested in instead.

Sometimes it's okay to just answer the question. It doesn't always have to be acting and lies in job interviews.
