intel trading at 29.80
am i looking at this all wrong? why is it so low? is that even low? you would think the biggest CPU manufacturer with the most value would be worth a whole lot more then this
idk, am i? thats why i've come here with questions.....i've been sitting on some WWE stock for awhile and am looking to switch it up
They're not even that big in the silicon industry.
The cpus running in your cars, on industrial machines, on simple electronics from toys to dvd players, are all from companies that aren't Intel. Guys like Freescale or Texas Instruments run on way more devices than Intel could ever hope to imagine.
Intel is just for consumer grade PCs/Laptop, which, in all honesty, is a dying market. Instagram browsing, Facebook posting, and even 90% of day to day work tasks don't require a 9 core ultra efficient 6 Ghz processor. Subsequently you're seeing phones & tablets ( which use processors from ARM or Qualcomm ) become people's primary device.
