How did you decide on your degree /biz/?
>Be Slav that's pretty good at Maths.
>Maths is a meme-University in my country.
>I'll just move to the West or do Medicine.
>Do Medicine work experience.
>Decide I don't like the risk of a vein popping, blood squirting in my eye and me getting infected with AIDS.
>I'll just do Pharmacy if I stay in my meme-country, or Maths with Stats if I manage to move to the West.
>Move to the West.
>Maths with Stats it is.
I considered Chemical Engineering at some point, but fell for Finance memes to heal commie complexes.
I suck at everything and all my hobbies are shitty except for self-studying economics, that's why I'm studying macro-economics at home.

>mom starts dating new guy
>he's a millionaire
>got his EE degree and MBA after college
>rich beyond belief, enough money to do anything he wants
I had been building computers and programming since high school, so I went computer engineering. Plan to get my MBA after college, work corporate for a while, then start my own company.

I've been working toward mechanical engineering. I've realized recently that I don't really want to be an engineer though. I've just wanted the engineer salary. Think I'm gonna either switch over to accounting or go for a trade. I've already spent two years in uni though, might as well do a couple more and get a degree. Good luck anon. I fucking hate the feeling of not knowing what to do with my life while all of my friends are set on their career paths.

Marx once said economics was the foundation of society, and I think Physics is the foundation of the universe, so double major it is. I also like law and want to work in government so I see an Econ PHD.+J.D in my future.
