a How to make college = money? thread with a twist: ONLINE COURSES
So today I bring to you /biz/ my situation. Consider I am an average 20 year old with an above average learning aptitude. I want to go back to school but I suffer from severe social anxiety. Even taking my add medication I can't concentrate on thoughtful subjects like math or programming whenever I'm in close proximity to other people.
However I've been presented an opportunity to take online courses to atleast get myself degree.
My question to you is: Is online even worth? The college game is mainly about making connections. Can a decent living be made from a degree online while also landing a job that can be done in solitude?
I'd like to hear similar stories and their outcomes. I don't want to waste my parents money if I know my anxiety will ultimately doom me anyway
