How much would you pay for a course that would teach you all about investing for beginners? Assuming you know nothing about investing and it's an 8 week course meeting once a week similar to the learning your city offers as programs at community centers. I'll be teaching financial statement analysis, overall knowledge of investing, macroeconomic effects on investments, some excel, and a bunch of other topics.
MY city offers an intro to excel course for $165 for 6 weeks as an idea of comparison. I'm a finance graduate and a CFA level 2 candidate.

I wouldn't pay more than $20 for a course by an unproven nobody. And that's being generous.
However if you pitch it right you could easily dupe people for $100 per. Or more. If you knew about basic economics you'd know how to figure out the right price point. Hint: you already know one key bit of info.

Also cfa 2. Not expecting to meet here, analysts forum more.

I'm currently thinking slightly less than excel course. No way I'd charge $100 per, it'd be say $200 for 8 2 hour classes meeting once a week. And a Level 2 candidate is more than qualified to teach an intro to finance course.

Yeah I'm on there too but I wouldn't want to do a level 1 study group. Granted there'd be more money in it but I'm not fully confident in all the topics to be able to help all problems.
