I'm not looking for get-rich-quick bullshit but instead a book that introduces me to the basics concepts about investing and the stock market

First it must be clear to you that investment and the securities markets are not necessarily the same thing.
There are many many investment vehicles.
The securities markets are simultaneously the simplest and most complex vehicles. Because of their paper contract form.
Strategic and tactical considerations need to be made as well as risk management and proper execution practices developed.
