i find the textbook in OP to be extremely concise and helpful with a fine balance of theory and practice, all while remaining interesting and digestible

Yeah, but your arguments are not convincing enough. Maybe because you are true and I'm just focussing on the unessential.

Anyway, I think I will watch the video series of Ashwath Damodaran(found on YouTube/iTunes) and then refer the books for details.
