Just fake schizophrenia. Read a lot about it, and then just imitate the symptoms. Then, you will get government assistance for life. As for the treatment - they can't force it on you unless you become violent or a significant danger on yourself. So you're free to just throw it away.

So do homeless people not have friends or family? It would take a whole lot me of screwing up for me to ever be homeless, I have considered buying some cheap property out in the countryside with an RV on it as a fallback option, but I am not sure how I would lose both my job, all my investments and not be able to rely on friends and family for a while to get back on my feet.

It's a sociopolitical structure. On one end, you do have a political structure in which the government takes control of major industries. On the other hand, you have the economic effect of those major industries being controlled by the government.

So, yes, my picture of socialism as an economic system is flawed and incomplete. So is yours where you view it purely as a political system. The truth is that it is a balance. Anyone ever consider creating a few fallback options so they never end up in a situation like OP?

I have been considering buying a cheap peice of property with some sort of housing on it and low taxes, possibly in another country, using an LLC so it's not in my name, and then stocking it with enough food and supplies to last me a year or two, maybe leave a cheap car in a garage somewhere as well. Obviously there are other easier financial fallback options, but having a place I could live in as a backup is appealing to me.

that's barely a plan and sounds like something a 14 year old would come up with, how much money do you really think you would even get out of that before being caught? I work at a bank and statistically most bank robbers rarely get away with more than a few thousand at most, robbing cars and mugging people will only get you pocket change and considering how much it costs to live in even a cheap motel for a month you will go through it all long before you can save anything.

Ive been around muggers and thieves and let me tell you they made some pretty decent money and they were doing it for years before they got caught. You're overestimating the ability of the police to catch bad guys. They really don't care.
If they weren't total trash and blew their money on drugs and new clothes they would be pretty well off. Ive estimated that i would need around 6k euros for a 6 month perdiod and ive also estimated that i would probably make something like 100euros/day on average. That means i would only have to do this for two months.

But hey, i havent actually been homeless so it's all just a guess.

I'm 26 lost my job, apartment, and car.
I've been applying everywhere and I had to move back in with my Dad. Am I fucked or what?
