So most people don't think like /biz/, but we want them to at least be on our side. How do you deal with this? Maybe you work in sales and sell shit to people that really shouldn't be buying it. Or maybe your co-workers would rather talk about television and sports teams than dividend returns or Chinese growth. What types of problems have you faced with this and how do you deal with it/make it work to your advantage?
Further to this, how do you humor these types without going full-blown sociopath? Thoughts, comments, experiences.

Someone is overweight, would he like it if you made him feel too fat to ever get fit and that everyone would ridicule him at your gym?
Certainly not. You want to make it seem easy and effective to get fit, and that it's not out of reach.
