How likely am I to make money creating 'creative' coffee mugs or stuff of that nature - phone cases, clothing, posters?
It honestly sounds fun but I wouldn't even want to try if it'll be at a loss.

Mass scale or just a hobby?
My wife makes soap and candles. Started out as just a side hobby but turned into a small business. She makes decent money off hipsters on etsy.

I'm not willing to abandon school or my full-time job in pursuit of this so definitely a hobby. I haven't made up my mind though. I was thinking about making vegan friendly backpacks.

As you can tell my mind is all over the place.

just try it. if you run out of free time doing it then that means it is successful. if it goes nowhere than you can at least feel productive instead of feeling like shit had you used that time to play vidya.
