Would be higher but I don't have a whole lot of debt (car loan is almost fully paid, no mortgage, <$9k in student loan principal left) or a long credit history. It's been steadily climbing for the past couple years so I can't complain.

I've only had one credit card (for 4 years) and have never taken a loan. Should I get another card, or will the decrease in age balance out any benefit?

2. you get some sort of long term benefit out of it
like air milage or cash back or something.

I've been sitting around a 765 for FICO for awhile now.

Doesn't help that I'm 25 and I've only had credit cards since I was 21. Doesn't help that I had my first actual loan until 23. I'm sure it'll improve with time, but 765 is still a pretty good score so I'm happy.
