So my country recently got into a recession and as a result I needed to get a job quick in order to ensure that when the masses realised how bad it was going to be now that taxes are charged on EVERYTHING i'd at least have a steady income. Now after leaving my last job due to my realization that i was being set up so that I would be unable to work anywhere other than that place (more info will be provided if you want), I have been unsuccessful at getting a job... Until now. (I hope you can understand sarcasm in text) I am glad(*) to finally anounce that I have finally got a job! it pays daily. I have to work from 8AM to 6PM every day (sundays optional) and I will now be making USD$5670.95 per year (in comparison to your minimum wage of USD$15,080 per year). So can I please just get some violins plz. (I hate my life)

Nice try, but T&T living is cheap compared to the US. Rent prices average 50% less than the US. You can live on your salary just fine. It won't be comfy but you'll do alright.

i am renting but also have a kid coming so it's gonna be tougher now even though my fiance also works. i'm not saying i''m on the streets its just the fact that this place is the only job i could get even though im qualified (to some extent) a 10 hour work day for less than minimum wage should be illigal but that's how it is sometimes here (hence me hating my life and the violin and such)

also cheap rent most likely means that you are living in a very dangerous area or you are renting a room out of someone's house which i guess isn't too bad depending on the situation but it's still not your place
