hey /biz/ post your quick ways you make some cash on the side whether its in the form of a hobby or because of necessity.
For instance i just do the simply go to yard/garage/estate sales and look for the occasional gem. Recently bought a sword from a meth addict for $20 bucks and can turn it around for easily $100 but most likely 150-200 range.
Anyone else have ideas they wish to share?
>walk in walmart
>grab a box of crest whitestrips
>open box and take the 20 whitestrips
>repeat 10 times
>sell on eBay at $50 per 20 strips
repeat the next day at different walmart
takes 3 seconds to open the box and grab them :)
I work for a flooring wholesale place and I collect the names of customers looking for a contractor to lay the floor down and do the prep-work, then refer them to the contractor held in confidence from my employer, drive over to the customer's house and suck their dicks.
I buy shitty houses (30-50k). Slap on some fresh paint and tile the floors. Sell at profit every time. Renovations don't cost me hardly anything I do it all by myself on the weekends. Essentially putting lipstick on a pig. I could probably go full time but id have to be less selective with what I buy and it would lower margins.
I make $50 a pop making shitty flyers cobbled together in Microsoft Word.
I also make $20 a pop from writing page-long "articles."
I make $25 every weekend giving an hour-long "art lesson" to this rich guy's kid.
I opt into any clinical trials that are taking place in my area... they usually pay between $75-100.
Finally, if I need extra cash I'll donate plasma, which is $50 a trip.
And that's on top of my full-time job. I work through the week, and do stupid shit on the weekends for side cash.
Nice McMansions here are like 150k lol. I'm also thinking about buying some of them and owner financing them at 10% interest for poorfags who can't get a mortgage. The added hassle of collecting payments and risk/legal complications might not be with it though.
tfw an average 2 bed house is 600k in my area.
Tried going to junkyards to take parts and sell them. The one jink yard with the best parts was too much of a pain in the ass to deal with though. You have to be accompanied by an employee would out to the yard, takes 30 minutes for one to show up, look around for the car you want, employee has to pull the part you want, then you have to haggle with the jew owners behind the counter.
Spend $200-$300 on a couple of speakers, a soundboard, and a mic. Torrent tons of crappy pop music. Starting "DJing" wedding receptions for $500 a night. (And thats the cheap end). Leave some flyers at popular wedding halls or even cut a deal with one.
>sucking dick is a guaranteed return
Not true, I stiff cocksuckers on the bill ALL the time. It leaves a real bad taste in their mouth.
On a different note
/biz/ memes are horrible. Suck dick for a dollar? Really? There is an apparent lack of creativity on this board or an abnormal amount of homosexuality and capitalism.
>Uber for dick sucking
that just might be crazy enough...
I'm thinking of maybe giving game making lessons. to kids who want to start out. I'm in no way an expert, but I do know how to model, use photoshop, code c# and use unity pretty decently. This year I will even (finally) release a game.
Do you think it would work? The kids could literally make anything they wanted and I'd just show them how to. If they wanna know how to make a character and animate it, that's what we do. They wanna play with physics? Let's do that.
I don't know how much I could charge given the fact I'm not actually a pro but I hear shitty guitarists give lessons so why not.
I have a mom with mom friends and their collective 8 year old kids want to learn "to make minecraft"
She asked about scratch and I don't think that's going to have the correct end result.
The pay is lucrative, so I gotta think of something.
You can't teach 8 year olds proper coding. What do?
I sell my junk on eBay
It's more for the benefit of ridding my clutter.
I even had sold retarded toothbrushes I bought at a dollar store 3 or 4 years ago
I made $3500 doing art commissions on the side
Usually finding clients is slow except for Christmas/vday/easter/halloween etc but I always overcharge when the lead time to those days are short and the clients are desperate/love my artstyle
I would like to sell a lot of expensive vinyls 100-1000$ but have no experience. I'm kind of intimidated by the whole experience of trusting someone with payment of "high" value items like these and the whole shipping issue.
How would you go about this? I understand the very basics of ebay auctions (although I might use discoggs) but I'm just scared to get fucked by some guy from nepal or hong kong. Who pays shipping when you sell this stuff?
You'd be surprised with he expensive watches sold on ebay.
Authentic Rolex watches and such go for thousands.
A friend of a friend does that and has had disputes.
Basically, the payments are done through PayPal, and so he makes sure to document the exchanges through email or the ebay messaging system.
[for example if a potential customer requests more photos of the watches and their paperwork]
In a dispute, you need to provide all the evidence to PayPal, and they are in my experience very helpful.
Just be sure to pay your taxes you guy you
