>/biz/, if you could start your dream business, what would it be?
I think it would be really cool to somehow get a native Americans reservation near me to legalize marijuana, and use it to start up a "weed amusement park/casino" that anyone over 21 could get into.
Leatherwares/men's barbershop/habadashery/lifestyle/hobbyist outlet. We would offer things like beard and haircare supplies, shoe repair, tailoring and bespoke menswear services, etc.
Basically a general manly man's store
I didn't tell you the major selling point. Because someone will steal it. Because I'm stealing it from someone else.
Plus, is anyone really going to be pissed off that there are green chicks? Str Trek loves green chicks.
>Antenna are optional
>Face paint is not
>Star Trek loves green chicks
Then do a Star Trek themed bar, you fucking cuck.
Because then my true gimmick wouldn't work. And the people just becoming of drinking age grew up with DBZ and animu, not original Star Trek.
I guess I could make a Mos Eisley themed bar , but that would kill the idea. However, I would suck on a Tweilik girl's head tails if given the chance.
I always wanted to be just like Danny Elfman.
That'll never happen.
What I *will* do, in 5-10 years, is start a small business offering business intelligence and predictive analytics services to small and midsized businesses who can't afford - and who don't need - a large full time team.
I'm finalizing the skills now. The technical skills.
I need to learn and perfect the business administration skills. So I need to get promoted to Director or VP, get assigned a budget, get assigned programs, and succeed.
This is going to make me very rich. And happy.
My family will be well taken care of. And I'll travel. And take my wife with me, she really wants to travel.
But it would have been nice to be Danny Elfman.
This would likely do well in Fullerton or Orange, CA. I live in Orange County and there are a wide variety of these new barbershops rolling up. Orange also has this whole antique thing going on. There is a "men's store" that is a bit like you described except it's like old vintage clothes and more general manly paraphrenalia like tobacco pipes and antique stuff. It doesn't really do it for me. The guys wax their mustaches and shit. I know that's a style but it's just not for me. Basically there's a market for that in certain areas though.
A comfy cafe in a medium sized town. Sell a modest variety of pastries and sandwiches. A place to people to talk and relax during busy days. Encourage customers to return with various customer loyalty rewards.
Too bad it's a risky and overly optimistic venture. I wouldn't invest in that even if I had endless money to blow.
I don't know if you are aware of this, but this is already happening. One of those reservations out west if I remember correctly. I think they're still jumping through hoops, but it's not that bad because it's somewhere where weed is already decriminalized.
Regardless, I'd still go breh
