Hey,
I'm not interning, but I run a small business.
Is it possible for me to get free labour for a month or two with 'internships'
How do I get them? Go to local community college, put up flyers?
Will anyone actually intern, or do people only want to intern for big companies?

Unpaid interns are not allowed to do work integral to the functioning of the company. They can watch and take notes, get coffee, maybe run some small errands and make copies but not much more than that.

What about cooking breakfast, cleaning, printing labels and packaging items? That ok? Where is the line.
Does packaging items count as integral functions?
If so, I guess it wouldn't be too bad to have an 18 year old girl cleaning up for me and cooking for me- I've been single for a while and I miss being cared for.

I heard the opposite. "Get me some coffee" internships are illegal, at least in California.

I don't know yet but I'm looking at a junior analyst intership at a firm. If not, maybe it's at another firm as a programmer.
I need to get the interviews out of the way first.

I'm getting an internship in cocksucking along Aurora avenue. They even paid for my uniform. My boss says I'll definitely get an offer if I can bring him his money.

Making money is illegal in California too
