Whatever you do don't buy oil until you're sure it has bottomed. Oil and Natural Gas producers are still falling on their swords. Companies that had no debt are suddenly up to their eyeballs in it. See Chesapeake, they may go bankrupt.

I work at an oil company. I saved money because I'm not a dumbfuck, but a lot of people are fucked. Layoffs erryday mane. On a serious note though, oils a boom and bust industry. This happens every 7 or so years.

Don't buy any oil until you see some oil producing nation having to halt the sale 1.5 million bpd for whatever reason: mechanical, terror, change of government.

There's 1.5 million bpd of excess supply of oil. (Hello North Dakota !) And despite rig counts being down, fucking production is increasing.

The dumbass producers will go bankrupt before October 2016. Right now many of those expected to shit the financial bed are using nearly 80% of their cash flow to pay monthly debt payments. Yes, no shit.

Suicide watch here. I was one of the last ones hired before the crash at the oil company I work at. But at least my company does not have a history of laying off employees in bad times so we will see.
