wtf is BTC doing? Global markets are taking a dump and it's flattening out. I'd assume it's going to break out, just don't know which direction.
Bitcoin is garbage. That being said, I'm long.

Yeah it's a ponzi scheme and it's not real, but I'm not going to let my memes be dreams. I'm long too, but it seems like it's on shaky ground. The only thing propping it up atm is probably global market turmoil because it has been falling.

Would it be wrong to assume that bitcoins will rise in value if stocks start to fall?
>>1028433
It will not.
Bitcoin did not rise when Greece got rekt, it did not rise when the Ruble fell and Ukraine went into war either...
>>1028433
Yes. Bitcoin is a meme and does whatever the fuck it wants.
>>1028166
how is bitcoin a ponzi scheme? makes no sense to me to call it that.
Bitcoin's value has nothing to do with global markets. The price is made of memes. Forums where BTC is regularly discussed are a better barometer on the price than stocks are.
>>1028457
It's not, but that's just what everyone calls it.
I think ethereum will be the bigger blockchain in 12 months time.
Its infrastructure is catching up to bitcoins and its only 6 months old. Chinese exchanges havent even started trading it yet.
>>1028523
I really want to get on that bandwagon, but idk where the fuck to get any.
Bitcoin has literally no penetration in media or social media amongst normalfags.
So it will never be anything but a meme.

No one ever got rich by following the herd.
We will build our own decentralised social networks that outcompete facebook and twitter.
Centralised services cannot compete. Once these decentralised systems mature and become more user friendly, the advantages to using them over centralised systems will gut the userbase of facebook and twitter.

Well that being said Bitcoin I assume always has a lag when events happen either before or way after then shortly

inb4 ethereum engineers all fall victim to random accidents and offices are blown up by 'terrorists'.

You do realize that meme magic is real though right? Standford has started classes on bitcoin.
