I am so sick of people here just shilling utter garbage?

Let's switch it up for a bit, are there any Crypto coders or miners here? I just started mining Ethereum 2 months ago with some 1080 ti's and it's going well, wondering if anyone else is doing the same or coding stuff. The only place I could find people who do this stuff is in the bitpam cryptocurrency discord server.

Dear /biz/

I am a student in Social Science, I have completed studies in Business along with being a manager for businesses such as Dominos and also being an Inventory manager.

I know I may come across as a bit of a loser but a long with this, it has not been an easy life.

I have currently been using plus 500 and from what I research it seems to come a cross with a lot of risk.

What are some good platforms that are a bit less dodgy? Also are there any good readings in regars to learning about stock?

If you're in the US, literally every US brokerage is better than Plus 500. Pretty sure that's an offshore brokerage. If they go insolvent, you lose everything.

Scottrade is basically a bare-bones brokerage. Literally nothing fancy. That's who I have and I want to switch. $7 in and $7 out.
If I decided to not be lazy I would move to Etrade. They're the cheapest. ~$5 last I checked. Interactive Brokers is the most sophisticated, they offer a shit ton of features. But you have to not care about fees, meaning have a lot of money.

Held this coin. Had the fucking shittiest heaviest fucking bags i have ever held in my god damned life. I wanted to believe in it. I wanted to be proven wrong, but my gut just told me... nope.... Dropped it.

The team is endearing and transparent which is fucking great. I just cant stand their work ethics though. Setting deadlines they can't fulfil and releasing glitchy UI's. nope nope nope.

I'm sure this will blow up in the future but not anytime soon. Will probably buy back in when its near the 170-200's.

Holy fucking shit I just want to use the native Ethereum wallet myself to move around my $100k in Eth tokens and Ether. I don't want to use My Jewish Wallet ok? Why is this so fucking hard to do? I tried installing Mist GUI on Mint Linux, and then on Windows 10 with no success. It keeps getting stuck on blocks. Yes, I deleted the folder and restarted it to fix the DAO hack, yes I restarted it multiple times. I'm still stuck at under 100 blocks left and it's been running for almost 2 days. Restart again, still continues grinding my PC going nowhere making almost no progress. I've been messing around with this for almost a week now downloading blocks like a fucking idiot. I'm getting 10MB/s down, 2MB/s up. There are almost no tutorials on how to do this right. It's amazing how we've all just moved to shitty normie alternatives. Just a year ago this ran just fine on all of my computers.

there's some kind of terminal command you have to run to make it sync in fast mode.

geth --syncmode light

something like that. anyway yes ETH is shit and is overvalued.

I did just that after checking the wiki. Fastmode is enabled and I was able to download almost all of the blocks. I'm stuck at 100 blocks left.

This isn't acceptable. They should've fixed this in the latest release but it's been this way for over 6 months now.
