Why is profitability for "sharing" apps so difficult to attain?
I've read that it's normal for tech startups to lose money for the first few years,
but Uber and AirBnB are 8 and 11 years old,

for companies earning revenue in the billions, how are they still spending so much on expenses?
Not suggesting the people running U / A are stupid, or that I could do a better job
I'm just confused about how they're pouring billions of dollars

it's already profitable in certain areas. but they burned more than 1B in china and then pulled out. they also do those various giveaways/freebies/reimbursements in 2nd world countries to attract users.
bottom line is right now they care about growth and not about money. that's because they still have around 10B in the bank.

That being said, I am a poorfag with 5k USD in crypto. This is my plan:
3.6 ETH on Kyber
3 ETH on Cindicator, if accepted
1 ETH on Blackmoon, detected some shady stuff so went minimal
I also hold 460 ODN, plan to buy more. I have some stake in WTC, BAT and BNB adding up together to almost 5k, thinking of going long term into IOC, ARK and OMG.
I have seen moderate gains in the past two months, not because selling at a loss but my relatively small profits from sales did not take
me to the moon quite yet. No bags currently except like 5 NEO and 15 MCO.
What do you think of the planned portfolio? How can I improve? I read whitepapers and assess the market but seem to miss some moon missions.
