The point of Trump's campaign is not to further lower-middle class interests or ameliorate their struggles. It's about recognizing that America's accumulated capital has been spread out all over the world since the adoption of imperialism in the late18th/early 19th centuries and doing something to bring it back to within our borders. The 1890s were rekt by a depression and the wealthy business owners/corporations of the time were too stuck on the idea of the supply curve to understand that their consolidation of markets had eliminated small producers from society and instead turned them into wage cucks- people who demand much more than they supply. Imperialism was a supply-side safety valve allowing for those who had accumulated massive amounts of investment capital to invest it into new markets (undeveloped countries) where they would have a greater chance at making a profit on their capital than they had in the US. He wants to bring this capital back into our economy because we have distributed it so broadly around the globe that WE ARE NOT MAKING ANY MONEY ANYMORE.

all you are doing is alienating the poor moron who is too dumb to look up any of the misinformation you intentionally post

we are all voting for Bernie or Donald

this has been surveyed repeatedly for months now

until you came here 2 weeks ago, literally not even 5% of posts were pro-Hillary (i.e., anti-Trump as you seem to think Trump will destroy you in a general election as all the serious pundits have said you are afraid of him alone)

maybe being born in a lower middle class was not an option but moving upwards or downwards from there is for most people.

The reason the 1% is just 1% is because there are only so few people who can handle life and reality at that scale.

You can barely handle "saying no" to a cupcake once a year you fat faggot, while he is "fighting" to become a president.

Maybe he shouldn't care about middle or lower class. Maybe he is the embodiment of punishment for those who feel entitled right out of the womb.

And yes there are accidents, there is a factor (in life) named luck, and there are truly "victims of birth" walking the earth right now. The opportunity of creating this thread alone, comes with so many things that just had to go "right" for you, so suck it up. You are just spoiled.

I think he's running because, as an astute business man and even better master of human manipulation, he realizes that the Republican party in this country is in shambles. If you were in Trump's position, having rubbed elbows with the upper crust of society for DECADES, it seems that running for president would be more of a "why the fuck not?" sort of venture. He's been talking about it since 1988. Imagine the developments in politics that he has either been party or witness to. The bottom line is that this country is an economic enterprise and it always was (a colony). Trump can see the degree to which private interest has bent the government and he is capitalizing on it.

>implying Trump can beat Hillary in a general election

wut?

Donna Brazile (longtime Dem head) stated on this past Sunday's talking head show that one of Hillary's top campaign managers said she believes the polls that show Trump would beat her in a head-to-head race are accurate, and that she is "afraid" of having to run against Trump because of this

Moreover, literally every single poll of registered voters shows Trump has more total votes than Hillary (not in primary, but if you count ALL registered voters and don't split the vote).

Hillary, you seem really desperate now. Why u post complete bullshit? Desperate?

you lefties and your straw man arguments. tisk tisk.
i never said that the people who are fleeing the country aren't innocent. yet thats the argument you choose to reply to for some reason.

Your analogy of a shooter in a mall was a decent one but it lacked some similarities wit the present situation.
We are not actively killing people fleeing from the situation like the you so eloquently decided to have the police do (us) in your analogy.
The random shooter in the mall doesn't quite represent the way they persecute people in the middle east as their persecution is based on religious belief not random acts of cruelty...
How do you presume these people who are raised and conditioned in such a culture will act when brought out of it?
you argument was not only bad it wasn't even on topic.
My point is not that we should kill them all it is simply to let them handle the situation on their own and not become involved in it.
History has been shown to tend to work these things out by themselves for the better.
Yes people will die, yes people will suffer but does that mean that we should die and suffer with them?
so let me present you with an analogy now.
I want no part in refugees coming to my country in the same way some of them want nothing to do with the war in their country. Does that mean that you should force them upon me in the same way war was forced upon them?
I disagree with you and think your bleeding heart will run out of enough blood for both you and me.

cnbc.com/2016/03/11/trump-may-be-proven-right-on-china-tariffs-chang.html

Oh, and fyi, China has been doing this to the U.S. for decades now, and guess what, it all started when Bill Clinton took all that money from China for his campaign (they bought him) and he in turn looked the other way on China stealing pretty much everything.from the American dream.

Did you actually read it? Because I did, and he didn't endorse him.

Again, I’m not making a case for Mr. Drumpf. There are lots of other politicians out there who also refuse to buy into right-wing economic nonsense, but who do so without proposing to scour the countryside in search of immigrants to deport, or to rip up our international economic agreements and start a trade war. The point, however, is that none of these reasonable politicians is seeking the Republican presidential nomination.

ECONOMISTS AND FINANCIAL EXPERTS IN FAVOR OF SEN. SANDERS’
WALL ST. REFORMS
In our view, Sen. Bernie Sanders’ plan for comprehensive financial reform is critical
for avoiding another “too-big-to-fail” financial crisis. The Senator is correct that the
biggest banks must be broken up and that a new 21st Century Glass-Steagall Act,
separating investment from commercial banking, must be enacted.
Wall Street’s largest banks are now far bigger than they were before the crisis, and
they still have every incentive to take excessive risks. No major Wall Street
executive has been indicted for the fraudulent behavior that led up to the 2008
crash, and fines imposed on the banks have been only a fraction of the banks’
potential gains. In addition, the banks and their lobbyists have succeeded in
watering down the Dodd-Frank reform legislation, and the financial institutions that
pose the greatest risk to our economy have still not devised sufficient “living wills”
for winding down their operations in the event of another crisis.
Secretary Hillary Clinton’s more modest proposals do not go far enough. They call
for a bit more oversight and a few new charges on shadow banking activity, but they
leave intact the titanic financial conglomerates that practice most shadow banking.
As a result, her plan does not adequately reduce the serious risks our financial
system poses to the American economy and to individual Americans. Given the size
and political power of Wall Street, her proposals would only invite more dilution
and finagle.
The only way to contain Wall Street’s excesses is with reforms sufficiently bold and
public they can’t be watered down. That’s why we support Senator Sanders’s plans
for busting up the biggest banks and resurrecting a modernized version of GlassSteagall.

He attended John Jay High School in Cross River, New York. He attended Dartmouth College, graduating with an A.B. summa cum laude in 1968 and winning a Rhodes Scholarship to study Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford

Yeah, not an economist. In fact he's so bad at it that he teaches it at Berkeley

On January 1, 2006 Reich joined the faculty of UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy. Since then, he has taught a popular course called Wealth and Poverty, which he developed during his tenure at Brandeis.[19] In addition to his professorship, Reich is also a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Blum Center for Developing Economies at the University of California, Berkeley.[20] The Center is focused on finding solutions to address the crisis of extreme poverty and disease in the developing world.[

ACTUAL RECENT QUOTE FROM DONALD TRUMP FOUND ON CNN:

"i like to dress up as wolvy (my 3rd fav x man)
not everybody thinks that its cool, but i finally met a girl who thinks im a 10/10 would bang like bam in my wolverine suit.
she'd come over sometimes while her boyfriend was away after school.

once the door would close she'd almost instantly get naked. most times she'd put on her favorite song and start sucking. then she would cry. her tears and makeup would drip down her face onto my dick. its surprising how cold tears are. eventually i finally asked her what was wrong. in between licks she told me that her favorite song was also her bfs favorite song. so even though she loved hearing it and it totally got her pussy wet, it also made her think about the fact that she was cheating on her boyfriend. i dont think i ever came harder down somebodies throat then right after she told me that. she was beautiful. we dont hang out anymore. wanna get lunch?

this was the song:

I would remind you that only ONE of those states matter at all, Virginia, the other states are always red in every election.

For your edification:

There are nine swing states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. Those states total 110 electoral votes, roughly 40 percent of the 270 votes needed to win. Whoever wins the swing states wins the Presidency, it's as simple as that. The margins of victory for these states are always close, frequently won by only a single percentage point.

What has changed this election cycle is that minority voter growth has increased at an unprecedented rate in the swing states since the 2012 elections.
And it's even worse than you think: http://fortune.com/2016/03/08/trump-latinos-citizenship/

Regardless of whether it's true or not, the American public perceives Trump as a racist and a bigot and because of Trump's perceived bigotry, Clinton who is already favored by 85% of minority voters, takes the minority vote in the swing states easily and thus it's electorates, and thus the presidency. If you truly understand what is going on here then you'll realize how literally fucked the republicans are if Trump wins the nomination, which it looks like he will.

Anyone who likes and votes for Trump is borderline retarded and is also a bigot. He has absolutely nothing substantial to say and he's an egomaniac. Letting him into the White House alone and anywhere near the nuclear launch codes and in charge of our military would be a grievous mistake and would invite another possible World War.

Even Noam Chomsky thinks he would be absolutely disastrous.

Many economists have come out and said that his "plan" would lead us into another recession.

The only thing he talks about regularly in interviews and debates is that stupid fucking wall he wants to put up that he thinks he can force Mexico to pay for. He can't. And if we built it it wouldn't change anything AND it would cost us billions and billions of dollars.

Trump is a failure. He has had so many businesses that went belly up. He's been bankrupt 4 times and has had to be bailed out multiple times.

If any of you are unironically claiming to support Trump then you need to go educate yourself because if this piece of human shit gets elected into office, we are all going to be fucked.

He even says that "climate change is just weather."

And don't tell me that they have it right, american economists are the worst in the entire world. Every fucking big crisis comes from america. if you do bernie's plan you will have a leave of big firms almost immediately. tax evasion will raise. There will be more poor people because working a low pay job will have no benefits.
His plans are doomed to fail.

Also, getting a degree in economics is bloody easy. And the ones that are teaching it in universities tend to be bad at it. People that are bad at what they do, teach other people.

we as american's, and business men, as innovators, and as creators of jobs are the only ones that dictate our standard of living.

politics don't create jobs, they don't create medicines, they don't create business and homes, and destiny's we create that.

Even someone with a decent sized brain and some understanding about human behavior will know that bernie's plans are doomed to fail. People hate to pay more. In belgium the government raised taxes on alcohol with 20%, the consumption decreased by 50%. Raising taxes will always have negative effect but there is zone where the tax income is at its highest, and according to a lot of american studies, america is now in that zone, as they increased taxes a few times and each time the tax income dropped.

Except for that at this point, we've become an oligarchy so it's incredibly difficult to just "make a company" when you have corporations who can do it cheaper and are already established. The playing field isn't level. You have to spend money to make money and when you're living in poverty or near poverty or even lower middle class you don't have money to just invest in a business.

There is a way to have both of those things, which is why we need another New Deal, like FDR made happen, and that's what Bernie Sanders is offering.

Compared to what? Because if It's other states you're sorely mistaken my friend. NY, CA and TX pretty much float the states that have shitty economies, such as the barren turd in which you must dwell. You can't really tie that to the predominant political ideology of the state when the most productive states are CA, TX, NY, FL, IL, pretty evenly distributed politically.

They run as many candidates as they need to ensure that they always win and when they do the president is working for them. Now that Trump is winning all the establishment media join in to defeat him. they also block his supporters from facebook and twitter. It is not even complicated you just need to study how it works.

So, you think that 99% of the wealth being with the top 1% of the country is okay? That kind of wealth inequality is horrifying. And it isn't because those 1%ers "worked hard", it's mostly because they either A) Inherited it or B) They fleeced people out of money or used other people's money to get their own money (like most of Wall Street) and maybe a few C) Inventing something but those are few and far between.

I'd WAY rather my tax dollars go to poor people than those rich assholes.

Explain please.
How do these four words, which are factually accurate, mean that the anon you responded to does not understand business?

>Allan West sexually molested her

Allan West sexually molested me so why not her? she's a LOT better looking than me.

He may have been the last Republican to not be a complete retard, but Trickle Down economics is a fucking joke.
>>
>>673385968
he still owns 8 of those companies.
A bankruptcy is a postponing of debt, meaning that the government will give you extra time to pay your debt collectors. So you can fill in a bankruptcy and still survive.

yet trump is the establishment, if this "establishment" really is as "all powerful" as you say it is,

and this "establishment" doesn't like donald?

why is a man worth 4 billion running for president?

if donald trump isn't the establishment, i don't know what the establishment is.

maybe the liberal media hates old donald because his ideas are fucking terrible.

Go easy on Reagan /b/ro. He might be the last Republican ever that was liked not just by his own party, but by both.

>bankruptcy isn't bankruptcy
Never said that, nice attack though.
Almost every business does chapter 11, you're retarded if you didn't know that. That isn't a point against Trump and his legion. If you are actually going to attack fucking do so or shut the fuck up. Literally you are no different from the trump faggots who talk and yet don't know half the shit they are talking about.

ah fuck it. I guess that's true. Does trickle down economics work like trickle down pussy? Because I've never had the opportunity to fuck those rich douchebags' ex wives, the bitches still hang out at high-end martini bars and I'm just a beer guy. I don't think trickle down anything works, you're just dealing with two different universes that don't overlap.
