Here's a real answer for anyone who actually looks for science- Look up the "high bypass turbofan engine". It's what the modern jet engine is. As long as there's been jets, there's been those contrails. The byproduct of any combustion includes water. Hydrocarbons (unburned fuel) + oxygen + heat creates water in the exhaust. In the 1980s, they high bypass turbofan engine was developed. It drastically increased engine efficiency. It's why older passenger jets had 4 engines and most modern ones have only 2. Along with the increased efficiency must come more water vapor in the exhaust. And, when flown at high altitudes where it's colder- the vapor freezes and makes larger, longer lasting contrails.

But, conspiritards really want you to believe it's a dark secret operation to spray poison on everyone. You know, for reasons.

If you are like, 80 it would make sense because you couldn't fly that high back then, but now planes fly at 40k feet.. however seeing as you are using a computer, it is more likely that you had moved or the climate had changed if you saw a difference. Most the days you see a lot that are in the summer there is also cirrus cover. If it's cold and there is no condensation, you will see them linger sometimes. Also notice how some days you see a lot.. some days you see none. I suggest you actually try to be scientific. Document them. Each day write down how many you see, and how long they linger. Catalog what the weather and season is along with the approximate weather at the time. I guarantee you will find a pattern.
