>>673314504 Ive taken the first three degrees of blue lodge, and once i join either the Scottish Rite or the York Rite, ill be able to gain further light through other degrees. Or, if I just wanted to goof around, id join the shriners
>>673316751 There are only 3 degrees in Blue lodge. In the Scottish Rite you can get up to 32. The 33rd is more of an award than a real degree. But once you get your First degree, You're as much as a Freemason as a 33rd degree
>>673317448 Its hard to approve visitation for black lodges. You have to request permission through your grand lodge, who communicates the prince hall grand lodge, who asks the prince hall lodge for permission, who then allow or deny it, then they have to send word back to their grand lodge, who sends it to your grand lodge, who then gets it back to your lodge. Takes about 6 months to approve 1 visit if everyone does what they need to.
>>673317931 It really did change alot. I can't really go into it much, but if you stick with it, and do the work, you'll be much better off. The craft isn't for everyone, but I wish i had joined years ago
>>673318046 No it's not. The obligations are the same unless you're clandestine. The only thing you could post on here without violating your obligations would be a pic of your dues card (name covered) with timestamp.
>>673318030 Freemasons, at least in my district, have a line in the Charge where you are instructed to follow your government faithfully. Freemasonry is a fraternity of men and brothers who meet for work, through which, you become a better man. I joined for that, as well as so I could study the rich history. Our History supposedly dates back to King Solomon
>>673319765 The charge a part of the ritual. Id rather not get into it because i dont remember most of it, but its really nice. If i were you, Id look for a local lodge and go to a meeting about an hour before hand and meet some masons. Youll be allowed to ask all the questions you want, and youd get a free meal
>>673320573 it's just a frat for grown-ups. my bro-in-law has lunch with some of his coworkers who are FM's. he was invited to become a member. he's currently an unofficial member. The Freemasons of today are like the Hell's Angels of today, the Angels outside of San Bernardino aren't hardcore, they're just a club. There may be "hardcore" Freemasons somewhere, but they aren't in the common lodges all over the US, and elsewhere..
>>673321504 Typically, its said 2B1ASK1 But that phrase was coined before the internet, where its easier to find lodges and meeting times. Usually, in the US, your state will have a Masonic Grand lodge website that will give you instructions on how to join or find a lodge. In my case, I found a lodge and emailed them, but if you see a building with the masonic square and compasses, and you see cars outside, just go on in, im sure that any brothers inside can help you out
>>673326044 Depends on the jurisdiction, but my family got it for me for Christmas.
>>673326108 You pay a dues every year. It's a flat rate regardless of how many degrees you complete. I pay $75 a year. The dues fund the Lodge for bills and stuff. Any leftover money we give to an orphanage and retirement home.
If anyone can, thank you. -What is a freemason? -I saw a freemason sticker on my neighbor's car.. should i be worried? -Is there a connotation between Satanic followers and the freemason? -Can you only be white to join? What are the requirements -Do i have to take it in the ass/suck dick to join? -There are a bunch of people that gather at the woods near my house wearing mask. Freemasons? -What is the point of being one? -
mom's cumming hOMe in 5, so.. god aGo soon >>673328407>>673327873>>673328129 > the answer to number six >>673327567 is yes, time-traveling inside vampire-cofins, burried under (obvious)Masonic corner-stones. peace-out, Felix, the wonderful, cop.
>>673329536 1. A religious man who wants to improve himself and help others 2. Nothing to worry about 3. Satanists can't be Masons 4. Must be: A man, 18 years old, no felonies, and a belief in a God 5. You are not harmed or humiliated during initiation. Nothing gay either. 6. Masons don't wear masks. Maybe the KKK or wiccans? 7. To improve yourself, fellowship, charity, and meeting people you wouldn't normally meet.
>>673329415 Obviously the united states was founded by the freemasons. Did your organization really keep it's fingers out of the government? And does it have a plan to return this country to it's former glory? i have a hard time believing you guys are not concerned about this.
what kinda dealio is involved when someone leaves the freemasons? I know someone who did and joined rotary instead, would they have been exposed to death threats like is freemasonry like scientology or islam do they have apostasy? also I'm curious about joining because from what I've heard it's about the betterment of humanity but idk if i qualify because my religous beliefs are monotheistic but not compatible with the abrahamic religons
>>673337719 what? youre a 3rd degree mason, but also a master mason? cant go higher unless youre in an offshoot branch, which you are in one right? Shriner branch. do you believe in God? Infinite Creator?
>>673338152 you die twice anon. when you breathe your last breathe and the last time someone thinks about you. life is nothing but value. humanity is still being decided. humans are social creatures. they like belonging to groups. why so negative anon?
>>673338409 got it. did you have a ritual for becoming a master mason?
>>673338416 do they believe in all or one higher being? i went to the local lodge and read they accept members of all religions. just need to believe in a higher power. read online its because they worship Lucifer ultimately.
>>673338645 >and the last time someone thinks about you. Our second deaths are a fabricated self, or an existence created by others. People won't remember our "true self," just a "self" they made with subjective memories and bias opinions. People are changed after they die when they are used to serve another person, quotes used out of context, etc.
>>673339007 I have no problem with that, actually. Although it is mostly found ancient to accept only certain types of people, I find that it's just another way for forming a pyramid scheme. (Which is, if you think about it, the only way of running a society properly.)
>>673339037 All higher beings, or rather, all higher beings combined. They do not worship Satanic gods exclusively. They're definitely not Satanist, and are rather bound to "positive" gods.
>>673339037 There is a ritual for at least all of your first 3 degrees, and for just having a stated meeting.
>what's Odinism? Worshiping the Norse Gods, with the primary focus on Odin.
>do they believe in all or one higher being?
Each mason can worship whatever deity he wants. But freemasonry as a whole has a vague term for all deities.
>read online its because they worship Lucifer ultimately.
No, it's not lucifer. It'd be a little hard to worship someone I don't think is real lol. There's actually a funny story behind that. The vague term for all the deities used(It's now something else, so I'm not breaking any oath) to be the God Of All Things. Goat. Symbol of satan. People incorrectly made the assumption they were connected.
>>673339219 I'm not sure, probs not though. You have to believe in a higher power and it's probably supposed to be a specific deity(because reasons I can't talk about).
>>673339738 Shit man, I dunno. What state? In my state you fill out your petition and three brothers have to sign it. Then it gets sent to grand lodge for approval. It get laid over for a month, and then the brethren vote on you.
>>673340103 More specifically I'm a spiritual agnostic who adopts some laveyan satanist traits. i believe there could be divine beings, but I've never been influenced by any of them. So I make myself the best person I can be on my own.
It's to ensure the oaths you take are binding. More along the lines of if you just swear something and you break that oath, whoopdie-fucking-doo. If you swear to a deity, you might be less prone to break that oath because you might incur their wrath or whatever. That's how it was explained to me anyway.
>>673339455 checked. thank you anon. this is what i need to read and further dissect. do you believe in reincarnation?
>>673339463 Lucifer is "positive" right? we wouldnt truly have free will if not for him. also all the earthly pleasures, except love, we get to experience in this earth is because of the Light Bringer.
>>673339535 so you'll be riding shiny and chrome onto valhalla? whats their Apocalypse story? so is satan, the devil and Lucifer different entities or all one like the father, son and holy spirit?
>>673340757 I honestly have no idea how Aussie lodges work, they apparently differ greatly just by the state here. I'd just wait it out another week or two and then if you get no word I'd contact them.
>>673340818 Perhaps my lodge did the ceremony in a different order than yours...? I'm referring to the staircase, and most specifically, (regarding the tears) the passage about 'true beauty' and 'stoop shoulders with silver hair' >...mother......?
>>673340964 What California does is their business and none of mine. It might be an iffy thing to do looking at Masonry as a whole, but lodges only answer to the Grand Lodge of their state and nothing further.
>>673340975 3, 5, & 7. I can't say why, but I think I can say that much.
>>673340975 Look up things like rodin coils, fubinocchi sequences and pynthagerean math, the way there are mathmatical harmonies in shape, sacrid geometry. The blueprints of the universe are out there, interconnected and in harmony. Any startong point is a fingertip into gripping the edges of the universe. All numbers are relevent, its what you do with them.
>>673341239 The staircase is in the second in my state, but we just did a double second degree a couple weeks ago but the rest of what you're mentioning isn't ringing a bell. I've learned ritual varies GREATLY from state to state.
>>673341247 No ....no? It's way to much to get into here, but there are the 9 Noble Virtues and stuff.
>>673341583 >awesome. thanks anon. can we humans manipulate/harness energy around us? This is not some magic secret cult, moron. These are boring, religious men, too afraid to let in some pussy. Their "secrets" are more mundane than you'd think. Most are not even secrets anymore, they just enjoy pretending to be the "keepers" of it.
>>673341442 For example looking at the big picture in statistics. .. it would be intellegent to plant a tree. If humanity snuffs itself out the air would be clean for the next thing to rise to complexity. Or the last generation could draw breath to curse our greed that laid them low. While we exchange hot air they could do more good by action in the same breath.
>>673341368 Just a few thing about Ragnarok off the top of my head are the three roosters crowing, the sun and moon will be swallowed by great wolves, one of the earliest signs of ragnarok will be a winter that lasts several years, the world will flood, The giants and other beasts will wage war with the Gods and the Einherjar and almost all the Gods will die and so will every human besides two. The flood will recede and the two humans will repopulate the earth.
>>673341506 They will definitely do a background check.
>>673341583 It's just a part of a ritual. And that's among the shit I can't talk about.
>>673341583 Consider what technology allows once was considered unattainable and in the relm of magic. By the time we have in our grasp understanding and use of what you seek average himanity will find it mundane keep your sense of wonder it drives the species forward.
>>673340737 >>673339455 >do you believe in reincarnation? I've thought about it, there has been people that I could think of as bodhisattvas. Currently I figure a person can live his or her current life, "self actualization" being the main goal; and when death comes hope to have peace of mind. I don't know what is important about things a person likely can't know, eg. things before birth and after death.
>>673341842 there's secret shit to everything anon. you may think theyve told you all there is, but thats just for their protection. i have no desire for earthly possessions. want to get as far away from the physical world as possible
>>673341736 Yeah I have noticed a great deal of variation of the specifics of ceremony among lodges from different areas. The core principles and learning requirements remain consistent, but there definitely are a bunch of differences when it comes to the small stuff. My lodge is a 'Ancient Free And Accepted' where most of the ones I've visited just one state over, are 'Free And Accepted.'
I wanna say specifically the part that hit me square in my Feeliest of Feels, but... secrecy, ya know...?
>>673342531 >want to get as far away from the physical world as possible An hero is your best bet then. >i have no desire for earthly possessions Sure, sure, just the very earthly thrill you'd get by flinging fireballs around or levitating. Please.
>>673342828 LSD and shrooms my dear boy. best things ever. gonna increase dosage periodically. an hero is too quick and final. flinging fireballs would be awesome. i would get off more on feeling the flow of energy go through me than the actual fire show. flying is my ultimate goal. the complete freedom of gliding through the air is euphoric. earthly possessions as in materials. fancy cars and clothes type of shit
>>673343253 shit....them niggas shot me...it was a blank but still... you know what it's like to have someone try and teach you a handshake and word "mahabone" that sounds like jibberish when you just crapped your pants?. ..they were some dicks... "tell us what you know or we will kill you"
>>673343374 >LSD and shrooms my dear boy. best things ever. gonna increase dosage periodically That works too. Report back when "got far enough away from the physical world" that you can't use a computer. Oh, wait.
>>673343605 you got it anon. i know its sarcasm. our brain is basically a computer. maybe in breaking past the physical realm into pure energy, i could access the web without needing a computer. i know it sounds fucking insane, but anything is possible right?
And what th hell: I'm gonna go ahead and mention it outright because I don't think any non-masons on here will even understand or care. Plus it'll bug the shit outta me that we didn't get on the same page. During my 2nd Degree, there was a beautiful passage about honoring our mothers that snuck up on me and really hit home... just like I'm sure it was meant to. I was wondering if it was the same for you.
>>673344320 Yeah man, I don't recall that at all. Maybe I just forgot from mine and wasn't paying attention through the one a couple weeks ago? I'll keep an ear open during the next one.
I'm wondering.. The brothers sang the song on your third, right? The way it was done in my lodge seem almost a little culty to me, but I imagine thats to leave an impression/fuck with the candidate a little.
>>673344656 If you could call it 'singing'... yeah. Barely, lol! There were only 8 brothers present at my 3rd, and since they were all pretty old (the youngest was like 55) they seemed a bit winded from the 'death' part. BUT them old-timers really sold it! I was definitely a bit scared! lol
>>673339455 i agree with you other people cannot make your life valuable. BUT what about this: The only way to understand the true meaning of your own existence is to reach a certain level of understanding. Now in order to reach this what do you need to do? ... you have to learn. learn everything you can possibly learn. Unless you have reached your maximum level of understanding you cannot say whether or not your life has value. also you can't really know whether or not you've reached your maximum level of understanding. It's really just a matter of will power. Now obviously i don't know what happens after you die so i have no right to tell you what do do with your life. BUT through my argument you will see that it doesn't matter whether or not there is any inherent meaning in life. All that matters is your own personal progress. The only thing that can stop you is your own sinful desires.
>>673345434 Man I wish there coulda been that many at mine! I'm a few months away from moving to Colorado, so maybe there's some policy in place, or whatever, that would allow me to go through them all again at a new home lodge with more brothers. Masonry in dying quick in Oklahoma.
>>673344766 >were they monks or normal folk? they are just normal people seeking enlightenment before their death. If the person obtains enlightenment, at death he, or she, may choose to stay in Nirvana or be reincarnated as a bodhisattva who help the living on their path to enlightenment. That's from my current understanding of Buddhism.
>>673345810 The only think I can think of demitting and then repetitioning in CO. But that seems kinda fuckin stupid to me. If I were you, I'd just do my best to help out with new members and in degrees, Help the candidates learn the catechism and maybe be their examiner.
It's dying out here too, but I've managed to get 4 or 5 new guys in the lodge since I joined.
>>673313553 http://www.zetatalk.com/govmt/g82.htm >Membership in the Masons is often mentioned in association with secret societies holding special knowledge about the alien presence or alien technology. The reason for this association is somewhat natural, given the structure and operation of the Masons - rigid rules, endless hierarchies, and privileges withheld from all but the elite members. As with the structure and operation of the military, this is highly attractive to those in the Service-to-Self - it is their structure and operation, and they feel at home! >This is no longer the case, but this predominance worked its way into NASA and the Apollo program, as individuals selected for key posts were chosen based on their long standing habit of following nonsensical rules. Those at the top wanted complete control, and only virtual automatons such as the devout Masons often are, were trusted. Thus potential astronauts, faced with the special screening rumored to be in place, often joined the Masons and went through the motions simply to be included in the space program. This surface loyalty often went to the extremes of including Masonic rituals while out in space, a routine that can be best understood if one considers that the astronauts simply wanted to be brought back home alive!
>>673345841 yes yes yes. for some reason it seems like most computer scientists are complete assholes (if you know how computers work then you know how ridiculous the state of the software world is). Probably due to them being bullied in high school. On one hand i'm glad to see douchebags getting what they deserve (identity theft and wire tapping) but these script kiddies loose all sense of morality and use their intelligence to take advantage of good people.
>>673346835 some organizations work on the basis of platonic relationships between brethren. Before the days of free buttsex for all this was easily accomplished by making an organization men only. Allowing buttsex compromises that dichotomy. It's not about the gayness. it's about the sexual attraction. i'm not even a mason btw
>>673345142 magic is spells and rituals. i just want to return to energy and be "one" with everything.
>>673345188 checked. you get mental pussy like physical pussy. dubs means it has to be true. i fap because i have fucked up fetishes that i dont see happening in real life or wont happen without horrible repercussions.
