i tihnk donald trump is gonna be a good presadnt i voted for him last night or whatever and hes gonna get elected im sick and tired of obama.. hes taking away are guns and runing americans i cant believe obama made it as presandt
The GOP has been stagnating for too goddamn long and is tied between so many conflicts of interests that it's impossible for any of them to get elected. I don't want to see Trump lead them because I think he will win. I want to see him get the nomination because it will force them to realize just how fucking pisspoor they've been doing. Maybe we'll even get the 3-4 party system we've so direly needed after the conservatives, nationalists, and libertarians all realize that they have conflicting ideologies.
If he becomes president, too, that would also be fucking fantastic. At the very least, it would cause the DNC to take a good hard look at themselves as well, since it would force classical liberals and progressivists to realize that they're conflicted as well.
>>673273711 1. "Constitutionalist" is just a shitty buzzword for "gun nut" 2. We have almost 400 million people. "Small government" is a thing of the past. 3. States rights are cool for some things, like legalizing weed and increasing wages, but too often "states rights" means being right-wing anti-abortion and forget civil rights issues.
>>673272488 he's an ignorant narcissist who received a shitload of money and managed to lose it all just to feed his ego. he managed to lose money running a casino, that's fucking statistically impossible. he is a moron who caters to morons, and those abound, which explains his success.
>>673274420 Dude, you started a thread to take a piss on anyone and everything. You are literally throwing an online temper tantrum, venting your rage at your pathetic existence at anyone who responds to this fucking dildo thread. It's pathetic.
>>673274787 >If the people of the state don't want to allow abortion, fine No it isn't. >Also, I don't care about civil rights issues adults do >Everyone is already equal according to the word of law. which is why you need law enforcement powers >getting rid of things like the DoE and cutting away other pointless 3 letter abbreviations. thank you for proving why you would benefit from Sanders' Free Education >"gun nut is just a buzzword" not it isn't faggot they're real problems in this country
A cult of personality arises when an individual uses mass media, propaganda, or other methods to create an idealized, heroic, and at times worshipful image, often through unquestioning flattery and praise. Sociologist Max Weber developed a tripartite classification of authority; the cult of personality holds parallels with what Weber defined as "charismatic authority". A cult of personality is similar to divinization, except that it is established by mass media and propaganda...
Who gets to decide when something is just being edgy? Who gets to decide when the constitution is followed and when it isn't? Who gets to decide when states rights are upheld and when it's just someone's own agenda? You, right? You specifically. That's your idea of democracy and politics. Well sorry to break this to you but you aren't as special as your mom tells you that you are. This is why rules are made, not to pick and choose what gives you a personal warm fuzzy on the inside, but to create a standard. That's why the constitution is upheld. That's why states need to have their own rights, not just when You agree with their decisions. It's a concept called Principle. Look it up.
he needs constant validation because of his insecurities even though he's ultra rich and /pol/ fags look up to him because he's exactly like them and they're under the delusion that they can follow in his footsteps
>>673275079 I'm sure your ideal future is where the government holds your hand and does everything for you.
I'm sure you also fantasise, like Sanders, about making banks smaller again with no idea where all the debt of the current banks will go and how badly it would shaft the economy.
You probably don't even have any idea how little Sanders will get done in his Presidency because nobody will pass what he wants not even considering his past actions, not even knowing that it'd be a gross overreach of his power to overrule everyone.
>>673273381 If Trump isn't elected someone else doing what he is doing will be. He's writing the blueprint right now on how to win the politically disenchanted voter base which at this point is the majority of the population
>>673275833 >I'm sure your ideal future is where the government holds your hand and does everything for yo Except I didn't say that faggot, nor did I intend any such meaning.. Learn to debate points without putting words in people's mouths
>You probably don't even have any idea pretty much sums up your collection of ridiculous unprovable bare assertions.
>>673276017 Translators note: the translator is an autistic 19 yr old computer science student who is not intelligent enough to major in chemical engineering, but smug enough to sound smrt on the Internet
Based. Bernie Sanders is a cuck, Hillary is scum and should be incarcerated, Ted Cruz is a shill. If he's elected he will make America great again. Tired of all the disgusting liberal SJW bullshit in this country. Illegals should be deported because they're lazy, fat good-for-nothings. >inb4 He's literally Hitler
>>673276718 Actually, no I successfully ran through your points and addressed them. That isn't baiting someone, it's telling them how they're fucked. >I believe in personal liberty, you don't based on what?
Not the anon you're replying to, but here's the first result in Google chemistry credentials. There's no point in arguing, you either believe him or there's nothing he can do it prove it that would satisfy an Internet argument.
>>673276391 >Except I didn't say that faggot You said small government is a thing of the past, small government does not mean (as you seem to interpret) a small governing body it means the government not dipping its fingers into things has no right exerting power over. For someone who identifies as a progressivist and therefore idealising civil liberties you're very stupid when it comes to realising that a larger governing power means a more authoritarian state. You can pretend all you like that it won't happen when you give government all that power but it's exactly what happens.
>unprovable bare assertions When you take away a bank all the debt associated with the bank doesn't disappear, the government takes it on. Nobody in congress likes Bernie, same as Cruz and nothing he's going to attempt is in the interest of them. Everything he tries that isn't a massively watered down version of his promises will be blocked.
I also like that you pretend you can claim unprovable bare assertions when you support Sanders, whose free education will be as much of a failure as obamacare entirely because of how meticulously organised the government's money is. He won't magically create money for free further eduction like you seem to think, he'll create more debt.
>>673276894 Are you actually serious? The progressive party line has been to completely ignore reality since around 2010. They aren't concerned with anything besides exciting the proles and manipulating society. Conservatives aren't any better than liberals but damn son, hop off Hillary's dick.
You didn't actually make any claims or points. Your entire field of babble can be boiled down to You personally wanting to decide when the rules are followed and when they aren't. I responded by saying you aren't special enough to make that decision for an entire nation. You find that incoherent? Again, ask an adult to read it out loud to you.
>>673277367 >Conservatives aren't any better than liberals
You haven't been paying attention, then. The most loathesome fuckers in America are all liberals these days. Racists like BLM that think murdering white police officers is a holy act, SJWs who destroy careers and art for not conforming to their ever changing definitions of purity, the feds who began harassing the president's political enemies (hey, remember when Bush did that? Oh, wait), and so on... all leftists.
Abortion is a personal choice. I don't much care for it, but it's not my decision to make whether another person gets one done. You Can have that one if you like.
Your next two points don't mean anything. There is already law enforcement, and the law says everyone is equal. There is no such thing as systemic whateverisms. If you can't succeed, it's because you weren't good enough, or didn't try hard enough. You are not entitled to the sweat of another man's brow.
Free is a bad word, everyone should work for what they earn. This way, the people who try the hardest, or are the best, rise to the top into positions of decision making. this is a good thing, some people are stupid and should be stuck following orders.
No, guns aren't a real problem in this country. Gun deaths have been going down steadily for years. Most gun violence is gang violence. The acts of criminals should not define the rights of the innocent.
>>673277311 >a larger governing power means a more authoritarian state so what? you're really telling me this country would progress by not enforcing its own laws because you think government is "too big?" >>unprovable bare assertions funny that was about 90% or more of your post. Project much?>>673277311 >He won't magically create money for free further eduction like you seem to think, he'll create more debt. so what? It's an investment and we could pay for it by raising taxes on the rich and Wall Street >Again, you don't really have any idea. Except you've yet to explain why your position is better, or provide specific concrete examples that back up your points. You're just talking shit because you're a governmentphobe.
>>673277343 Prove to me that you aren't a fat sack shit with a skin disease living in his moms basement pedo with a cum sock with mushrooms growing out of it lying under his bed. This is fun. What to try again?
>>673277538 And now you're responding with another incoherent bunch of bullshit and you've still not answered any of the points I've made. >>673274026 go back and list rebuttals to each one of them. Protip: you can't
We live in a world where the man who discovered DNA, Crick, lost his nobel peace prize because of a political opinion. It doesn't matter how smart you are or what you contribute to society. The fact of the matter is that unless you are oppressed, your opinion does not matter to progressivists.
Of course, I'm sure my opinion matters less to you on the grounds that I'm a straight white male, and I've internalized that. So I don't know why I'd bother explaining it to you.
My research was in graph theory. I proved the existence of p4 decomps for certain classes of low multiplicity multigraphs that are relevant to particle diagrams used by physicists. The work has been published in an international mathematics journal as part of a larger article on the computational complexity of decomp problems.
This is enough information to dox me, but I doubt you have anywhere near the intellect to get there.
>>673276894 >There's a difference between the regressive leftists plaguing college campuses and TYT and actual progressives, who champion science, philosophy, and reason. Hardly.
Why do you tell yourselves that? Do you not realize that the latter is essentially championing the former? Again: When you remove a nobel peace prize from someone for claiming that the genetic difference in race could account for generalized intelligence, then you are not scientific.
Progressivists do not like science unless it conforms to their beliefs that oppression=wisdom. Quit thinking otherwise.
>>673277854 >Your next two points don't mean anything. or you don't understand them, which is more likely >There is already law enforcement, and the law says everyone is equal. actually no, it took an entire Civil Rights Movement to come up with legislation to enforce that law. >Free is a bad word, everyone should work for what they earn. When the private sector fails to provide this, government intervenes. Maybe you should consider this a bit. >>673277854 >No, guns aren't a real problem in this country Actually they are to the point of where we should consider the basic reforms like background checks and closing the gun show loophole. Otherwise, I agree. No legislation being proposed would affect the right to bear arms.
Anyone seen the How Donald Trump answers a question video? Maybe post a link since I'm on my phone. It's really stunning how natural he sounds while staying so utterly consistent in the type of language he uses.
>>673274758 This. The only thing I like about Trump is how much he makes the other politicians quiver and how he doesn't care that he's just a taller, pinker palpatine. Bernie Sanders sounds good but he's got no chance so we might as well see how bad it can get, yknow?
>>673278332 Because you believe claiming that you have a degree in some unrelated field makes you more educated in this one. A degree doesn't prove you're intelligent, it proves you've gone through training. Your opinion isn't any more valid or worthwhile than anybody else's. You bringing up your supposed education is simply your insecurity coming to light.
>>673278794 >>673278888 (nice quads) It's clearly intentional, and it's working. When scientists find a weird species dominating it's environment, they chalk it up to dumb luck, they try to find out why.
You're just running around in circles now. Just because you surrounded them with a lot of words doesn't change their meaning. Again, READING COMPREHENSION. You typed a lot of words but all that you SAID was that YOU PERSONNALY should be able to dictate how these matters are handled. I seriously do not feel like continuing an English lesson here. You are not and will not ever be special enough to dictate the world to your personal feels.
>>673277889 >funny that was about 90% or more of your post. That was a quote of yours. I'd complement your reading comprehension but you mindblanked most of what you read because you couldn't even begin to attempt to respond to it. Since you fail to understand the concept, the government is not just your fucking idol. There are many people with many motives there and when they do not align with your idol, especially the majority, your idol won't get much done. If you want a source go fucking research some numbers on how many will oppose him in government.
>and we could pay for it by raising taxes on the rich and Wall Street And you didn't have fantasies? You won't get the money you're seeking from these people because a massive taxation on them to cover it will never happen, it'll get blocked every time guaranteed.
>Except you've yet to explain why your position is better I just gave you a bunch of reasons a lot of Sanders' promises will never happen but you just pretend it was never written.
>It's an investment Investments have a return. A higher basic level of education just means you need even further education to stand out in a particular field and receive more than regular pay. It has absolutely no return and gives people who have no real interest in getting a real degree a reason to waste more time and money instead of working.
>You're just talking shit because you're a governmentphobe. You should really do some research on why authoritarian governments aren't good for what you want. Then again, it almost perfectly describes SJW utopia where real civil liberties are forgotten.
>>673279813 >No, there are real, appreciable differences in those two people's ideologies. Differences that are only apparent AFTER drinking the koolaid, I'm sure.
I've yet to meet a progressivist who doesn't behave like a combination of the two. Just because you don't endorse spirit animals and zodiacs, that doesn't mean you are somehow less of a faggot than the rest of your kin.
>you're doing that thing conservatives like to do where they lump everyone they don't like under a label they don't like. See >>673273818 and >>673274376
I do not like the right wing. I do not like conservatives. I think they're as fucking retarded as you are.
>>673279085 Dunno. I'm old(er). I think I get why the older folks latch on to him, but I am totally mystified by the other set. If I'd have to hazard, it comes from having a sense of being marginalized. There'd be a ven diagram of different interests, but that'd be the intersection. For the younger set, social media just allows them to voice their frustrations in an way that they can't in front of their friends, family colleagues, etc. it's not a cause, but a medium.
>>673280658 Nice reading comprehension, I was talking about finding the information to dox you. Unless the journal requires a subscription of some sort then there's no reason it wouldn't require capability to use google and time.
I'm sure you're familiar with projection being as intelligent as you are, were you intelligent enough to be aware you were doing such?
>>673280739 I'll go ahead and give you a little perspective on my psychology.
I'm fairly socially adjusted. I'm 25. And I'm friends with a lot of progressivists. The reason I'm voting for Trump, though, is because I hate the GOP and want to see it reformed into two seperate parties dedicated to conservative evangelicals vs. nationalistic libertarians. And I view voting for Trump as a necessary evil on the grounds that it is THE most certain way to get changes done in our political system, and you should be able to recognize that as well based on the level of resistance that people push towards him.
The reason you DON'T see me on social media, though, is because you and I would end up having a falling out because we live in a time where political differences ruin friendships more than ever and I'm not interested in stirring drama.
>>673281328 Why would you state it required intellect to dox if it's knowledge based? If it's true though, nice achievement but does it make the bigbux and more importantly allow you to shitpost while at work?
>>673282027 After doing some looking, it doesn't look like the search is knowledge based so much as jargon based. Mostly the entire topic seems boring. Assuming this autist is telling the truth, I'm glad it was him and not me who had to trudge through this junk.
>>673281666 Fair enough. I strongly resist the notion of 'libertarian nationalism,' but I'd suspect we'd have to sit down over a beer out two and unpack that a little more. Maybe you've inadvertently pointed out the corrosive element to social media: folks aren't having face to face debates about their values, and hashing out their differences. Instead we are doing this. A t any rate, thank you for your honest response.
I just imagine if he got elected him and Putin just open season killing gays and being hardasses together being nuts as fuck and relations between USA and Russia being good for once. they both just march into Europe cunt punt Merkel and massacre all the immigrants
I doubt that you'll like my opinion, but simply, our country is so fucked atm, that's why honestly we kind of need a hard-ass as leader right now. As much I love Bernie Sandbags, I think that our country needs someone like Trump or Hillary (although Hillary seems like she has autism)
Other countries are laughing at us, and Bernie is honestly too frail and too nice to be president and make the hard decisions. Honestly he'd make a good foreign affairs representative. Seriously if we need anyone to represent our country, I think Bernie is a truly kind individual and would represent us in a high regard.
>>673272488 there are always gonnas be conflict between my view and yours. but donaldtrump is something specisl we can all agree on. speciality. always........ It takes a special kinda person to understand thst. snd thts what nI strive for..... dont always get but still try and get....
>>673282917 For what purpose would you need to do that. Finding the paper itself? If you found the journal then you'd find the paper, and therefore the name.
>>673283127 You can hardly say it's wasted if it's something he finds purpose in and supports his lifestyle. And there are points where knowledge requires comprehension, where intelligence does come in.
So, idk if this is the thread, I'll probably make a separate thread about it later tonight.
But.. Where does everyone stand on a Resources Based Economy? I have this friend that spouts off on Facebook about, "the Monterey system is evil and is killing america blah blah blah... We should trade our shit and not work a single day anymore...blah blah." Basically the whole world should be new aged hipster hippies and I hate fucking hearing/seeing her posts about it.
And she says shit like. "When Bernie Sanders is prez that's one more step to a RBE(resource bases economy hurr durr)"
Do anyone else feel my pain? Its so cringy seeing stupid shit like that.
>>673283975 Bernie is dreaming about an america where the poor have to do nothing and get everything and the top 1% pay all the shit. I"m not from the USA, but still I hope he won't win.
Trump is the typical image of an american
since I'm not that big in usa politics, can someone explain why not vote for hc? I mean, she looks like the lesser evil. Why does everyone call her american hitler? Everything bad I hear about her is "She is a liar" but tbh.. isn't every politican a liar?
>>673285128 No, Bernie is dreaming of an America where the income distribution is less zipfian, where the market works for everyone and redistribution is less necessary(read Robert Reich), where the rate of return on investment isn't so high that hedge funds are more profitable than investing in start-ups.
You're just repeating the caricature of him that his been used by his critics (who are motivated by their interest in the crony capitalist status quo).
>>673272488 >Electing any of these useless fucks... >Thinking a president needs anything other than common sense and an objective view of his country to run it ...and retards wonder why our nation is dying, holy shit.
I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.
>>673284122 Yes I know. I pay zero attention to her Facebook. But her post are always something stupid like that. I wish my phone want being a faggot right now, I'd show you guys the stupid shit. I'll copy pasta one of her posts that made me cringe a bit.
>>673279362 Millennialfag here. I am currently working on my Master's degree, and am soon on track to be making over 100K per year in wages, not counting investments. If things go well, I will be paying more taxes under Bernie's plan. And yes, I do want him to win. I want income inequality to vanish in this country that is still so far behind the times.
>>673291184 I won't argue that, because it is right, but he isn't talking about stabilizing it. I saw a speech of him that was like "everyone needs a free health insurance, payed by the top 1%". Things like this make me wonder if he knows what he is talking. I think he isn't the right one do balance the money
A health care system funded by progressive taxes would effectively redistribute new income.
However, you're right, he isn't talking about the structural changes that need to be made. He is endorsed by economists that do, and has praised a book that spells out which structural changes need to be made.
I think he doesn't talk about market structure because that would scare people even more than health care does. And, he knows we need to get money out of politics before we can undo what's been done to the market foundations over the last 40 years. That means a popular movement to bring politics back to the dinner table, and public oversight back into fashion. THAT, is his main focus. #NotMeUs
>>673289177 we will talk again, when 60k of your 100k just vanish and the retarded, always sick, lazy ass near your office earns 60k and may keep 30k, but works 2hours less day in a position that includes scratching his balls and talking bullshit.
He stands to winning the republican nomination, question is, if Sanders wins the democratic nomination, we have a serious chance of this guy becoming a president, because both candidates are on each their side of the spectrum ie. alot of people in the middle can go both ways.
Though if Trump or Sanders got elected, there wouldnt be too much to be changed, congress will block em, bureaucrats and the establishment, lobbyists n all that shit will cockblock any move for any radical change, just remember how much shit Obama had to go through to push his healthcare package.
He does talk a lot of populism, that is a big part of his ethics, lifting up the little guy.
As for Hillary, she is the definition of crony capitalism. When she was secretary of state her not for profit, the Clinton Foundation, took money from foreign businesses, individuals, and even governments who had business before the state department. Bill took huge speaking fees from people who had business before the state department, that money went into their private accounts and then they donated their own money to her election campaign. When asked about this, she just laughs.
Then, there's the dishonesty. She has literally held positions on both sides of nearly every issue that matters to democratic voters over the last 10 years. She just says whatever will be most popular at the time. No ethics.
There's no way to get money out of politics with her in office.
