As I said, it doesn't always work, but it allowed me to see hidden photos in several cases

1. go to the profile page and view the page source
2. search profile_id and copy the number
3, go to fb.com/search/profile_id/photos of fb.com/search/profile_id/photos-of, replacing profile_id with the number you copied
4. profit

Note that this wotks only if you set the language to english(US)
