pick one champ for many games

Pick I champ with a high mechanical skill level like zed and play the shit out of them. Then when you play other, easier champs it will be alot easier to learn them. When playing at a higher level, mechanics are key.

Gold 1 in season 4. Your level 11 which means your fucking horible so ill give you the run down. Make sure your camera is always unlocked and make sure you have your key bindings on smartcast. Dont blame people for loseing because its a waste of time. Get better at last hitting aka hitting the minion when its health is at nearly zero and killing it so you get the gold.

If you care about your rank the slightest once you hit 30 dont go straight to ranked because you'll get bronze 5 and stay there for a year , instead play 100 normals and focus on gameplay like warding , map awareness and last hitting.

Save up your ip for 2 runepages ap and ad. Make sure there all tier 3 you'll want 9x magic pen 3x flat ap quints 9x scaling health yellows and 9x ap blues. For ad get 9x flat ad marks 9x armor seal yellows 3x ad quint and 9x magic resist blues.

Find a champ you enjoy not one thats good because you'll stop playing it once you realize your garbage

Okay, I have to say dota was not appealing UI wise like league. I do enjoy the champions though.

I went from playing league since it started pretty much to trying DOTA2 for a while last week and I had to many gripes about the game to continue playing it. I love the champions and the wide range of abilities- but I can't say I enjoy much else.

Hi and welcome to league of salt®, also called league of unbalance®, and league of money® (cause u'll need to spend a lota money to buy these champs and rune pages and skins and ip boost)

First tip: don't buy lvl 3 runes, buy lvl 2 it's almost as good and cost way less ip. Use these ip to buy whatever champ you want.

2nd tip if u wanna get gud: most new players I see have trouble with looking around the map, especially the area close to their champ, for example when the ennemy is doing drake and you're on your way, try to watch what the ennemy is doing so you know if their health gets too low this way you'll know who to kill first. But STILL keep an eye on the minimap so you can react quickly if someone ganks you from a bush or something. You can switch the minimap position in option.
To quickly get the camera to your champ, you can press f1 or click on the minimap, you can also press f2-f5 to check your teamates and see if they're doing well or not.

Tip 3: Try to time your autoattacks right so you do 1 auto between 1 or more spells, this way you'll optimise your damage, however this isn't always true for example if you're a ap mid then you'll shit damage with your auto anyways (except maybe in early game) so you'll just want to use all your spells as fast as possible, however if you're a adc then it's very important you keep that balance between autos and spells, one exception is if you have a spell on a low cooldown, that you think you can use again during the fight or if you absolutely need the damage to finish a champ or if you need escape a skillshot, this spell you can use instead of an autoattack, if you think it's more useful.

Fourth tip: improve your last hitting skills. Last hitting provide a lot of money and you need that especially earlly game, if you farm really during the first 10 minutes and outfarm your opponent by a lot of creep, you'll come back with a much bigger item than him and easily beat him, so learn how to farm.

Fifth tip: learn when and where to ward. In league's current state most junglers won't gank before they kill their whole jungle at least once, this means you shouldn't ward before at least 3:30.

Sixth tip: If a lane is getting completely destroyed ie if the guy is being 0/3 or something, don't even bother to gank, either the guy is bad and even if you give him 5 kills he won't come back or be useful late game, or either he's good, but by the time you give him enough kills, the game will be lost.
It's best if this guy just keeps farming safely under his turret and defend as much as he can.
So go gank other lanes. Watch how the other lanes play and try to gank the best player as he'll probably carry harder than the others.

IMO, the best things for you to do in order to succeed are:
1) Learn to CS in lane. Most important factor in most games for cash.
2) Learn the abilities of all champs
3) Imagine the trades you're going to have to deal with in your lane and how you will react to them
4) Look at the enemy jungler and imagine how they're going to gank you. Prevent that with prudent planning such as wards/safe play. This is contextual. Malzahar, for example, is very vulnerable to ganks because he has no escape abilities, but he's really good 1v1. Due to this, it's easy to become over-aggressive in lane and shove.
5) Don't shove your lane
6) DON'T. SHOVE. YOUR. LANE.

I wasted years only to be permabanned because of children.
