If your job can be replaced by a robot, you are a fucking loser.
scientists cant be replaced by a robot. Robots can't conclude based on evidence, nor can they understand or learn from proper research.
they also can't design things without human input. IE) designing buildings, bridges, guns, etc.
Computer scientist isnt a job title
Pipe Fitter reporting in. A robot cannot do my job. No college needed and make 48 USD an hour.
Only as long as there is one single tree left standing.
I have spent many hours cabling trunks of ancient oaks together to prevent failure, and thousands chasing deadwood and bagging and removing mistletoe.
Only the ones who don't know my name.
Capcha: boss as fuck
>implying the job of AI researcher can be replaced by an AI
>implying the job of professional psychological and emotional support can be replaced by an AI
>implying programmers and scientists can be replaced by AI
Training was hands on and I picked it up in 2 years. if you take the NCCR classes its like 5 semesters but if you take the test it is just 50 USD. Once you are certified then you should make no less than 32 USD an hour. About the work it is not for everyone. Pic related. it is about 150 foot up on a scaffold pole. I was doing a simple bolt up and took a selfie.
Uh you realize that within decades robots will be performing most medical procedures and presiding over most legal matters right?
There are very few jobs that can't be automated and as technology advances most of them will be.
>TFW Automation and robotics engineer
>TFW i'm probably the person who builds the robot that replaces your job
>TFW i'm probably the person who builds the robot that replaces my job
Nice fall arrest.
In all seriousness, I am putting googly eyes on my kask climb hat.
That is great.
You dont know anything bout programming right? Machines cant solve abstract problrm (not yet) so they cant program anything. Compilers only translate TRANSLATE you fucking moron. And machine learning has nothing in common with programming, machine learns to take decisioms based on a previously learned set of decisions.
I sadly cannot wait for the day my profession is replaced by robots. Instant tattoos that are completely accurate and clean would be amazing. I'd rather people be able to get great tats everywhere than keep my job.
It is most certainly a thing, friend.
Things need done; people figure out how.
I have the coolest job; every day is different, I look great naked, there are truly unique engineering problems for me to solve sometimes multiple times a day.
Next year, when you make your annual trip outdoors to visit grandma so that she doesn't cut your neet ass out of the will, look at every large tree and imagine how you would get them down and out of the yard. The theory is the best part.
i think its cool dude fuck that other loser
i don't have a job, ergo it can't be replaced by a robot, ergo i'm not a loser.
I am in charge of several robots that do the jobs about 40 people per shift used to do. Loser or no? I robot couldn't do my job because I make the decisions when the robots fuck up.... Basically I get paid to browse 4chins
Whoa. Big trees.
That picture was a massive red oak; truly a titan around here.
It was about a hundred feet tall with a spread of about as much.
Y'all have some trees that would dwarf this guy.
For real. Climb trees.
the truthofthe matter is the vast majority of jobs can be replaced by a computer but we all prefer customer service, phone lines (online webpage) admin (could be replaced with a pencil and paper lol) security (cameras automated systems and key passes) hell even footballers could be replaced by computers
i think the real question is what cant be replaced by a computer?
coding (mabye in the future idk)
any other ideas for jobs that cant be replaced by a computer?
In the near future, as A.I. and robotics become better every year, a lot of jobs gonna be replaced, not only of burgerflippers, but of CEOs as well. It's the robotic revolution with much more impact than even the industrial revolution, and it's coming. There will either be dramatic social and political change, or there will be a lot of really poor people. Could end in utopia or distopia. What a great time to be alive.
boy don't tell me you skipped leg day...
Southern red oaks have a rather short natural lifespan. This one was beginning to fail and had succumb to hypoxylin canker.
It was 96 years old.
It took the two of us 8 days to haul off.
....I mean, a tree doesn't have to be a threat for someone to pay me to remove it, but in this case it was.
Every day is leg day. My arms and core don't handle anything that my legs don't carry.
My upper body is dwarfed by my legs. Including calves. C:
Technician at a radio station .... thanks god no robot can fucking run around the town like a lunatic trying to buy a 3,5 -> 5,5 jack reduction after the last one has been lost and nobody fucking said anything
>implying they can't
