>games that we always come back to
This fucking game right here. My brother and I still play this game together even like 13 years later. 2v2 pwnage.
I never, ever played this game. Peopel say it is good. But my cousin said it kinda sucks. So. What gives? It is good, or just overrated? /v/ always says it is good, but /v/ can't into video games.
I played it since '03. Stopped for a little while to play WoW but got burned out right after WOTLK when I realized that they're just milking the same formula of grind, quest, dungeons, etc. Also rogues got nerfed so I was like FUCK YOU GUYS. Also started having to do real world shit and didn't have time to invest in WoW anymore. But WC3 still stands the test of time and I still enjoy it about once every week or so. Thanks, anon.
I think it's one of those games that has great replay value. It could feel like a totally new game if you replay it with a Nosferatu stealth build for example, or if you choose Malkavian for the crazy dialogue options. They don't make games like this anymore.
Well it is still good, it was amazing for its time, even with all the bugs it had.Don't expect outstanding graphics, enjoy the story, the universe, and the liberty of the quests. You can usually do quest in more ways than one. But, it's a matter of personal taste.I say try it..
I sometimes like to just play the beginning again before all the dystopian and corruption.
pirate bay? Also make sure to get the widescreen patch.
Undying was the first legit scary game for me, also underrated as hell
This. It's been installed on every computer I've owned since 1995. I even have it running on my phone.
EarthBound of SUPER NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM and I learned of plot/story/tale/realism/realitiness of EarthBound of Super Nintendo Entertainment System of modern warring technology of STIMULATION OF BODY-MOVING/LIKE-SENSE SINCE OF ELECTRICITY OF CAUSED OF IN OF BODY SINCE 1. tiny metals in human 2. metals moved since of energies striked/hitting metals 3. energies sent/from machine far of miles.
Second Life - because you can use the avatars from other games to explore a sandbox world. Whether you want to troll/grief, go talk with people in text or mic, even have sex as/with your waifu.
Yeah man. Risen kinda gave me hope they can still make good games but then they fucked 2nd and 3rd up so I lost all hope and I keep coming back to gothic 2 - one of, if not the best rpgs ever made
I have to many hours in this game, and I can't quit it for good.
Two is god tier. Infinite started out amazing and looks the part, but it ultimately falls apart by trying to do too much. And the DLCs are awful and retcon the previous Bioshock games poorly.
Definitely this one. I'll probably keep on coming back to play this game till the day I die
Bloodborne. Hidden depth, 5 play through and its still throwing little things I missed the first time. Plus different builds and weapon strategies
Damn right you do, Anon! If you've got the time, play them in succession. First one begins your feels, second one overloads them, then Infinite you just get this sense of hopelessness towards the end. Love everything about these games man.
Perfect dark. I'm in love with this game
Nice taste OP. I even edited this picture back then, cause i really enjoyed it. I also like the Resident Evil HD Remakes and looking forward to RE2
I've played all three games three times, and will probably play them again.
Underrated as fuck imo. Dark, moving, difficult and beautiful. Pity the sequal was shite
No, but Ralph's adventures are often fun to do yourself. But more often than not you don't get big reactions, so it takes a few tries.
For me. Candy crush has stood the test of time for years now.
This. I've wasted so much fucking time with this game. It's a shame there will never be another Star Wars game like it, now that EA is at the helm.
The only game that ever has made me feel 'at home'.
I start it up, leave the census office, the music kicks in and it's like I never left.
They just made some of the sprites look a bit sharper, but much other art has been left untouched, making the whole thing seem incomplete. Not to mention the false advertising of it, making the original game look much worse in comparison.
And since Ubisoft doesn't have access to the source-code to anything but the first release of the game, you get all the same bugs the original release had, and none of the expansions.
Why anyone would pay $15 for that incomplete mess, when you can instead buy the original for $10 over at GOG (tends to be on sale pretty often for less than $5) which also includes all the expansions as well, is beyond me.
Comparing to Complete, yes, it's really bad
Second Life. I broke into someones private house and interrupted their virtual sex.
Some care, some don't. This guy just laughed and asked if I wanted a turn with her.
I think perfect dark would have been a legendary game to all had it not come.out right at the time.of next gen consoles. Have you looked into all the hacking people did to the game anrevealed features the devs were working on?
the 2nd one, yes. Could never finish it, that game was scary as fuck once i met those cyborg women. I think i'll get back to it now.
yup. Just Ubisoft being Ubisoft
Is this FF7 remake coming to PC?
I really hope it does. I mean Id get a good laugh at them blowing all that money on remaking an old game just to realize that all the nostalgic faggots who want it arent kids with consoles anymore.
because Tripwire is about the only game company to have the balls to make a shooter that isn't exactly like call of duty or battlefield.
this and Blood Omen 2 were my favorite Vampire games. Shame that they turned the LoK series into a bullshit arena pvp game. It's like devs nowadays are handicapped or something, nobody can come up with a decent campaign anymore.
i posted random screenshot from google graphics, too lazy to launch up a game than make screenshot to post it here. The point is about the game, not about the graphics, which classic is ofcourse better
I spend a month every year playing this and usually getting about 80 percent, its just a relaxing game as you get older
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed most Bethesda games, but the wirting has always been shit.
Even with Morrowind, my nostalgia glasses are still not thick enough to overlook the plainly bad writing.
Bethesda has never gotten that part right and they continue to acknowledge that it has been a flaw of their games.
At least once every year I will go back and play the entire Mass Effect trilogy.
I never get sick of those games.
Can't play some games on new tvs unless you emulate, smash brothers for instance.
I ended up shelling out about 1000 for a crt that outputs to 720p just for retro gaming best of both worlds.
You can even go higher and get some tv station crts that will shit on most cheap lcds in picture quality
I bought it on Steam for the first time, any tips? Should I install mods/patches?
Good thing I still have my black & white TV to play this on.
