I played it since '03. Stopped for a little while to play WoW but got burned out right after WOTLK when I realized that they're just milking the same formula of grind, quest, dungeons, etc. Also rogues got nerfed so I was like FUCK YOU GUYS. Also started having to do real world shit and didn't have time to invest in WoW anymore. But WC3 still stands the test of time and I still enjoy it about once every week or so. Thanks, anon.

I think it's one of those games that has great replay value. It could feel like a totally new game if you replay it with a Nosferatu stealth build for example, or if you choose Malkavian for the crazy dialogue options. They don't make games like this anymore.

They just made some of the sprites look a bit sharper, but much other art has been left untouched, making the whole thing seem incomplete. Not to mention the false advertising of it, making the original game look much worse in comparison.
And since Ubisoft doesn't have access to the source-code to anything but the first release of the game, you get all the same bugs the original release had, and none of the expansions.
Why anyone would pay $15 for that incomplete mess, when you can instead buy the original for $10 over at GOG (tends to be on sale pretty often for less than $5) which also includes all the expansions as well, is beyond me.
