BattleHeart was my favourite game when I played mobile games a lot. I played the original but the 2nd one looks good too.
The trenches series is pretty good too.

Got GBA emulator, played through pokemon leaf green and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Fucking got tier games for shitter and class. You'll want to hear the awesome music of Castlevania though.

Witch Spring. It's like $4, no ads, no DLC, lots of content and a cute story. Even after story content. Made by a couple of Korean dudes so it's pretty engrish but otherwise it's a novel RPG that'll get you in the feels.

Pros:
1) its free
2) no annoying ads
3) Very roguelike, quests and such

cons
1) game unfinished
2) not sure it will be last update was 2014.
3) can be classified as a grind

Cytus and Deemo, both from the same developers. They are music games, a sort of guitar hero for mobiles. Cytus is free, but you have to wait a little before each song or pay 2$ for getting rid of them. Deemo lets you play the first chapter for free before playing. Very good games,though,and not expensive.
