OP here about the languages. I have no problem with the other slavic nations. Bulgarians are most close to Makedonija. Our languages are close to yours because the old bulgarians made the letters we both write on.
>>664045667 >What is like there? Shit. lots of refugees and angry old people. The youth is a piece of shit as well. >Favorite bulgarian food? Doner kebab. >How poor are you guys? Very poor. >Is it true u people nod your head to say "no" and shake it to say "yes"? Yes.
>>664046270 St Cyril and Methodius invented Glagolithic - the first slavic ALPHABET (not language). Cyrillic itself - named to honour Cyril - was developed by Kliment Ohridski (Climent of Ohrid), one of his pupils who was both Bulgarian and worked and taught in Bulgaria (both at the Literary Schools of Ohrid and Preslav). So get your facts straight, mong.
>>664045229 Lol, you answered the question, but in another way. This is why Bulgaria is poor, because dumbfucks like OP keep blaming everyone else, but themselves. And they do nothing about it, of course. It's like, the state only exists in the minds of plebs and a few poor idealists, and everyone else is just too busy trying to get money, for greed or survival. And the government is like a common enemy, for everyone. Our disrespect for the government is the last thing that truly unites us, but in a pathetic way, not nearly enough to make a difference. The average bulgarian is somehow convinced that the state owes him good life, but he doesn't owe anything to anyone.
>>664043304 of you of learned of STIMULATION OF BODY-MOVING/LIKE-SENSE SINCE OF ELECTRICITY OF CAUSED OF IN OF BODY SINCE 1. tiny metals in human 2. metals moved since of energies striked/hitting metals 3. energies sent/from machine far of miles.?
>>664047985 I'm not saying the politicians are not to blame. Im saying that bulgarian politicians are a reflection of the bulgarian people and it's mentality. Like the saying goes : every nation deserves it's rulers. Bulgaria is a small nation and it was always sold to and ruled by foreign interests. Only the price varies. And in the last 20 years it was sold for almost nothing. And thats all because of the "lone survivor" mentality. You can't blame politicians for destroying your country, while you are exhibiting the same pattern of behaviour as them. I'm not sure if you are like this, but over half of all bulgarians think like this. They have to, if they want to survive. You don't think 500 years of slavery and then 45 years of police state, wouldn't leave a mark, do you? И между другото българин съм.
>>664048387 Dobrich is kinda a town you here about but never really go to. It's quite close to Romania and has some cool historical people and buildings. Still, it's pretty shit after the revolution in 1989. >>664049407 In Bulgaria, all over 45s know Russian. Seriously. And even then, most Russians I know can read and understand up to 70% of Bulgarian.
Sofia is a cool underrated city. We have the large mountain of Vitosha to the south, which has skiing facilities. Being the 2nd oldest city in Europe, we have many historical sites. Our Beer is also cheaper than a bottle of Coka Cola, so the bars are a good bargain for westerners.
>>664049746 Yh, Communism ruined Bulgaria. We have a shitty mentality. But, we don;t deserve to die as a nation. I wish the young people would rise up and push the government out. I know we kicked Boyko out, but he came back. ;__;
>>664049773 Sofia is a city, there's shit to see, but overall I'd say the more interesting 'Bulgarian' things are like food and drink and like villages or geographical sites. If you wanna party, however, it's a good place to start.
>>664050673 Sofia for parties and better in the winter. Varna is winter only, has some good night life, good nearby historical sights. >>664050737 For young people including me, yes. For 40s and above, use Ukrainian.
>>664049957 This country can rise only with revolution - and that requires a lot of money, equipment, manpower and most of all willpower. And even if we do reclaim our country and put smart and educated people in position, the EU would act against it. A revolution needs to take place in all of Europe, but westerners are now too spoiled and dependent on their capitalistic liberal pc utopia, to actually see what's going on, much less to care about it, and much much less to do anything about it.
Being such a poor and dirty country, is crime (eg robbery) a huge issue? I can't imagine Bulgarian's rob other Bulgarians because all they can steal is dirt. But I can imagine Bulgarian on tourist crime is a lot higher?
>>664051265 I agree, but I'm sick of Bulgarian pandering to either Russia or NATO/EU. We need a new Stefan Stambolov, and an intelligent young generation to repair the damage. It would be hard, but why give up now when we as a nation have come through so much?
>>664051557 Bulgarian on tourist crime is more in tourism itself - much higher prices for foreigners. As for actual crime - not really that much. Except for the gypsy scum, but they steal from everyone anyway. If you ever come visit, always keep an eye on those fuckers, because they will steal your shit long before you even notice. Women and children included.
