I've done this. Sell off nearly everything you own and just pack a backpack of clothes and essentials. Then get a bus ticket to where you wanna go. Find a camp grounds or stay in a cheap hotel in the outskirts of the city you want to live and get a job there. When you have enough money, move closer and closer into the city.

Took a job there leaving my small hometown of about 15k ppl. Got paid a lot more but rent and expenses were very high. No income tax in FL so they fuck you in other ways like registering your car and fishing licence costs that are way higher than anywhere else.

Trust me, unless you make tons of money you'll never live the baller life in Miami that im sure youre dreaming of. Cruising south beach and clubbing require mad cash.
