If humans are meant to eat meat then why are the top causes of death predominantly caused by consumption of animal products in developed countries?
Vegans: 2, Carnists: 0
Because those animals are grain-fed with pesticide-soaked corn. Free range animals don't cause those problems.
Also, every time a vegetarian eats a granola bar, a thousand baby plants never get born.
>carnists can't even defend their position
>only humans can suffer
Please educate yourself on how neural networks and evolution work together to create the sensation that we call "suffering". It's almost a required trait for survival of an animal. Very few animals are without the capacity to suffer.
Okay so how is that even an argument? I never said they were human, and the unethical part of killing animals for food has nothing to do with whether they are human.
Think for a moment. Why is it important to you that they be human? Surely there is some characteristic about humans that makes you feel we shouldn't be treated the same way?
they're caused by over consumption of meat. Over is the word you're missing.
Also, if humans were "meant" to eat plants, why do no plants provide all of the essential amino acids? There's no single plant staple you can live on; you have to rely on combinations.
Also, why do we have teeth clearly designed for processing a combination of plant and meat food sources?
Why is our intestinal tract length to body mass ratio longer than pure carnivores, but shorter than pure herbivores?
Why does meat taste so good?
>That's a real argument. As a rule, we've evolved such that there is positive feedback to reinforce beneficial behavior. Good food sources (honey, meat, fruit, whatever the fuck) taste better than bad ones (grass, pinecones, batteries)
Pursuing and vegan lifestyle with how much i work out is two expensive, all the whey protein and other supplements i use already cost a fuckton, to cut out chicken and eggs would be to much.
>There's no single plant staple you can live on; you have to rely on combinations.
Why the fuck would anyone want to eat a single plant for their entire life? That would be fucking stupid and boring. It is trivial to get all the amino acids just be eating the things I enjoy. You are imagining a problem where there is none.
You are on a path to heart disease or cancer. I would try to deprioritizing body building if I were you. It's a pretty shallow hobby that only has limited practical application. Why not learn Jiu Jitsu instead? It's more practical and still provides some physical exercise. I practice BJJ and have no problems on a vegan diet.
what the fuck is wrong with you and spicing your shit up... you're practically being vegetarian with all that spice. Do you even feel meat flavour...
jesus fucking christ some people here
Honestly, humanity has just fallen from its grace. We probably coexisted with animals long ago. Who fucking knows? So much information is suppressed. I love a good fucking steak. Am I really such a horrible person for enjoying some steak? Don't be such a melodramatic faggot. We should change our diets, but you need to stop acting so fucking superior about it. I wish vegan people weren't such faggots. Maybe then we could change things for the future generations. Use our knowledge to help the next generation to fix the Earth out of its current shit hole state.
The reasons being used to justify the act in the comic do not change just because the species does. That is the point that was being made. Causing unnecessary suffering is always wrong no matter what the species is.
OP just got assblasted by this one, no comeback from the vegan it seems.
Most animals eat the same plants all the time because we raise them and feed them the same plants all the time (fortified with supplements I might add). Herbivores in the wild will often eat a wide variety of vegetation.
You do realise it's only on the surface right? You're not eating the whole fucking thing, when you slice it up for meal portions the spice is only on the edge and it supplies the flavour to the whole piece of meat.
Darwins law leads to the very common assumption, that every living things goal on earth is to have as many offspring as possible or to have another way to raise the amount of similar genes to you in your gene pool.
There is no ethic, there is just you trying to fit into a role in wich you hope to have success in reproducing. This is also why you tell everyone that you are vegan and that everyone who is not is not a good partner. This is just the same as the cuck threads I see everyday but a little more stupid.
>Plus i can move several hundred pounds of metal by myself, how fucking cool is that?
I guess that's cool, but I taught myself useful skills and now I can pay people to move heavy things for me. I think that is better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's nice to have girls think your muscles are sexy. However, I sincerely think that is only useful for obtaining shallow relationships and will ward off a lot of the decent women who want more fulfilling relationships.
