Legend of the Galactic Heroes is, from my perception, a far more superior show than Breaking Bad based on the criteria of

character development
substance to the plot line
overall entertainment value

LoGH is an epic anime that explores the nature of government and democracy, what it means to be an efficient dictator and provides multiple perspectives on power with some of the best classical music you'll ever hear playing in the background.

Don't judge it based on the fact that it is anime. Anime is simply another medium.
I'd watch all 110 episodes before judging it at all.

I managed to watch until the episode on S2 where he finds out the cancer is in remission and after that at a pool party he forces his kid to drink alcohol and has a huge fight over it. walter white is a awesome charakter, not becausw he is such a sicko and hard badass. he makes a complete evolution through the serie, very interesting. his targets are changeing and his behaviour to. most of the series got a fix charaktersystem, the funny, the bad, the good ones. but here its hard to make a difference
