Every time you kill an enemy you take on one part of that enemy. Not becoming the enemy as a whole, or getting all his abilities, just one part. You'll start off as kind of an unremarkable flesh golem, then the first enemy will give you a different arm, and whatever abilities that arm has, the next will give you a leg, then a torso, etc. But sometimes you'll need two of the same limbs to perform certain abilities, ie if you have one strong jumping leg, and one that's not jumping will result in you being flung horizontally.

Your character can't die, but enemies become tougher the more you fuck up and <take damage/get caught/get pushed back>, and you can reset to the last checkpoint to reset the difficulty from that checkpoint onward. Thus, overcoming tougher enemies demonstrates superior skill at learning and adapting to the game's challenges, but people who are less skilled can still practice until they're able to progress. The very best/most experienced players are those who can go through the entire game without any checkpoint resets and without raising the natural difficulty of the game at all.

NPC's with karma levels.

If you save or generally help an NPC with positive karma, you gain karma based on the level of karma that character has. You can also gain karma by killing or imprisoning NPC's with low karma, and vice-versa.

The purpose of this mechanic is that your actions would directly effect the world around you. If your good and help good people/vanquish evil, there will be more good people around you. If you kill good people/destroy good there will be more evil people around you. The game starts off as a blank slate, neutral to either side.

The game starts out normal, and boring, and you can play that way and it will never alert you to the fact that you're a dumbass. But, if you play it right you will discover glitches, real glitches in the game. If you exploit the glitches you will be taken on a very different path, until the game starts fighting back against your exploits. You have to keep breaking the game more and more, and it will try harder and harder to stop you. You will come across patched levels and have to completely rethink your strategy. Eventually you can beat the game by completely breaking it.

Came up with this idea after finding and publishing over 100 exploits for BF3. EA kind of hated me. I'd love to make this game a reality but I'm no coder. So have at it.
