Let's get a metal thread going. Thrash preferred. Emo and Metalcore fags fuck off.
not nesecerally faggot
judging people from their music way of music, u are too dumb to /b/e on /b/ you should fuck off and join the community theater of hipsters and swag ppl who are actually are disgusted by virusses of this planet , you are worse than scum.
These fucking guys.
Maaah nigga. Seen dev three times now, I certainly want to catch one of his acoustic shows at least once in my lifetime.
Carnivore - Carnivore (with lyrics): http://youtu.be/_e9FbnyLldQ
>Greetings and solicitations, children of technology!
Periphery has some core elements, the vocals amongst others. Bands from Bullet For My Valentine up to Asking Alexandria are bands I would consider metalcore. Breakdowns, harsh vox in verse and clean in chorus (or the other way around), dual guitar harmonies, those are things that you see a lot in core. (not that a song is instantly core when just one of these elements is found in it)
If any of you guys haven't checked out this album, it's worth a listen
Svart Crown - Profane
It's tech death, but Gojira-esque tech death
Also, I'm seeing pic related in December
Have any of you gone to a show in their current tour?
The best technical death metal band of all.
I have severe autism and I violently head butt a wall if I cant watch MLP or get to join in with the memes on /b/
Saw Sylosis when they opened for Lamb of God in Amsterdam a year back. A really solid performance, though I missed the first half because I ran into Randy from LoG and we ended up talking and walking through the streets of Amsterdam. They killed Empyreal.
They're good, too, but I prefer Beyond Creation.
>dat god tier bass
Also, Meshuggah are fucking excellent, holy shit. They're the only band that have left me speechless after a song.
>fucking Bleed, holy fucking shit dat song
You know it, seen them twice, front roy. My god. It's almost robotic how they pley everything tight as shit. Easily one of the best live band in terms of precision and quality.
Also pic related
jens kidman is proud of you.
Too bad their most recent album is kind of shit.
This is probably the most brutal band I listen to, I'll give some of the ones you guys mentioned a listen.
>pic related, me not giving a fuck
1 internet to anyone who recognizes this beauty
>It's almost robotic how they pley everything tight as shit
ITT: people who don't recognize the one tr00 greatest b&
it happens man. no grammer nazis hear
>lol fuck normalfags they are so weak minded, if only they listened to metal music and had long hair and black band shirts like me. Because everyone knows that listening to hardcore badass music makes you a hardcore badass
Though it's quite obvious that you are trolling, would you consider soemone who listens to "patrician" music and also at least 1 metalband a manchild? Or only people who listen solely to metal?
>implying independent thought is bad thing
>implying manchild music
>lol metalfags are so weird if only they listened to rap wore baggy pants swag bling like everyone else
made me reply/10
Also, pleasure to kill is the BEST kreator album
I don't know or care what that is. And I could care less what music you listen too, it's the metal heads who are faggots. Rule of thumb, if I can tell what you listen too without even talking to you (black band shirt, long greasy hair, cargo shorts, all star shoes, etc) than just fucking kill yourself. 99% of metal heads have to dress up the part and look badass because they, for some ill minded reason, thinks that makes them badass
idk why, but i always like listening to this album during the winter months.
>implying that I listen to that
>implying that doesn't sound better than a bunch of faggots playing their instruments as hard and as fast as they can, accompanied by a guy with a microphone screaming as if he'd just been ass raped
Because googling a word is so fucking hard. Are you, by any chance, a nigger?
>Black band shirt
>Long greasy hair
Long yes, greasy no, because I take care of it
Never wore those
>All star shoes
Have a pair of those, but they also belong to the most popular shoes in the world
>lol 4chan is so hardcore man only mentally fucked up people can handle it
Jesus Christ you are a faggot. This place is full of 14 year olds and homosexuals. You sound very insecure, and use things such as /b/ and metal music to define yourself to cover up your shitty personality
Also, what 15 year-olds do you see with long greasy hair and black band shirts lel
Glorious Metallica Master Race
For starters, this thread is full of them. I'm willing to bet at least half of the people here are under 18 and will grow up eventually and realize what a faggot they used to be
Full of cancer that people like you brought with them. Also, I know that I have a shitty personality, I've never tried to deny that. It doesn't make you any less of a faggot, though.
Confirmed for nigger.
I'll throw you a bone there, some teens like metalcore (OM&M, Suicide Silence, Bring Me The Horizon etc) and they usually ten to be going through a phase, but to say thats everyone who listens to metal is a gross generalization.
I hate metal retards. I'm a 45 year old newfag system administrator for a very large college, grew up listening to the big four, still listen to thrash, and love it. Listening to the new Exodus album right now.
It's all good. Even the hair bands. Have an open mind and share what's good and maybe learn a thing or two.
Or continue the Mustaine > Metallica, Mallcore, Korn isn't metal, Motley Crue isn't metal, arguments and look like the pussies you really are.
Going to see these guys on Wednesday, so excited.
A lot of really good stuff recommended here. Not sure where OP went, but other people are still lurking, I'm sure.
BTW, Exodus Blood in Blood Out, 7/10 - strange having Souza back after getting used to Dukes - album is more of the bouncy fun riff Fabulous Disaster era Exodus than the gloomier Dukes era. Nothing terrible memorable though. Title song, Numb = best songs
Agree, for the most part. But the last track Food For The Worms always manages to get my blood pumping. It very much reminds me of Tempo Of The Damned + Scar Spangled Banner. And that's not a bad combination, in my opinion.
Since we're talking Exodus, thoughts on their albums "Impact Is Imminent" and "Force of Habit"?
Want to see a picture of me? I have everything but long hair, band shirts and all the other shit you're talking about.
Yet I listen to this. Who fucking cares lol.
Btw you forgot this one:
>every person who makes metal or listens to it are satanic
long hair yeah, other shirts just as often as band shirts, jeans/shorts like anyone else, regular shoes
also i was well-liked throughout high school and graduated in the top 10
No metalheads dont dress or act the way they do because the want to act badass. Its a lifestyle just like how people who are into rap sag their jeans and wear baggy clothes. BTW JUDAS PRIEST FOR FUCKING LIFE!!
periphery is djent, which is basically what happens when metalcore tries to be prog by making every song a clusterfuck of music theory buzzwords and overprocessing their guitars while they chug away (in 7/16 of course...u guys don't even know how proggy we are) on the low F# of their 8 string (which is probably downtuned even further)
Kalmah on the other hand is fucking awesome.
>added to favorites
thanks for that, m8.
hell yeah. can't wait for their next album
"Impact Is Imminent" good CD, hard to follow up Toxic Waltz and Fabulous Disaster with a new drummer but a decent 6/10 album.
"Force of Habit" - way, way, way too long but I actually like it occasionally. Everybody hates this album (= Metallica's black, Slayer's Diabolicus, Megadeth's Risk, etc.) but there are some good songs, Good Day to Die, Rains it Pours, etc.
No jihadis don't dress or act the way Ty do because they want to act badass. It's a lifestyle just like the infidels into paganism disobey sharia and miss their daily prayers. BTW ALLAHU AKBAR.
Anyone like Ghost? Saw them live in New Orleans with King Dude, their live show was actually really cool.
Aye. Standout songs for Impact (for me, anyway) are AWOL, Walls Of Chaos, and Thrash Under Pressure.
Force = Me Myself and I, Climb Before The Fall, Rains it Pours, and Feeding Time At The Zoo.
Have to give props to Gary Holt for pulling double duty for Exodus and Slayer. Lee Atlus too, with Exodus and Heathen.
>le master troll
After "you probably" all I could get from that was "wonk wonk wonk wonk pasta wonk wonk wonk." I assume it's typical sperm gargling troll gibberish, I don't even bother to try to translate that shit.
