According to advocates of 3D printing. It's just a matter of time to we can print strong metals, food, and even human organs.
If so, it shouldn't be long before we can print an entire human.
How long till we can 3D print living, customized humans as sex toys?
We're gonna go to the pirate bay and download the newest sexy humans illegally. It's just a matter of time.
In the future, humans will no longer be born from fertilized eggs, cells multiplying using instructions from DNA.
They will be 3D printed. Customized to perfection. It's the new way to create life.
What do you think about this?
Print organs print organs Print organs print organs Print organs print organs Print organs print organs Print organs print organs Print organs print organs Print organs print organs Print organs print organs
You have no idea what you are talking about m8
You are behind the times man, we already can 3d Print food. Look up ChefJet.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we need the materials that the printed stuff is made from? So if we were to print metals, we'd need to metals melted to be printed? So if we were to "print" human organs, wouldn't we need skin/tissue etc.
Waaaaaay after we're all dead.
To print a human, we first need to completely finish mapping the human brain, so we know which parts to leave in and which parts to leave dead.
That won't happen for a long ass time.
Our hands will slowly devolve beacuse we wont have to fap anymore.
On a serious note... Most people would probaly just rely on printing a partner, priting a child. So it will be like man of steel where natural born babies dont exist.
this, and organs aren't even actually printed, they grow them on a 3D printed frame, don't they?
also would you really want to have to feed and water your sexprint? it'd be a lot more responsiblity than you guys realize
also we really need a BRAIN for this, and that is years and years away.
That's what I'm thinking. I think people overestimate a technology. Just because we can use a machine to glue stuff on top of each other to make a sculpture doesn't mean we're close to manipulating things on an atomic level.
This, or growing atleast. From stemcells, on holster from real organs. Also we dont really get to see what they really do, technology is developed and hidden by goverments until the world is ready for it.
But this has severe moral consequences.
What if someone printed a bunch of people to kill them?
Or what if we figured out how pain is made in the brain and then we printed out thousands of brains just to have them suffer. That would be fucked up.
>you will be able to print a waifu within 40 decades
see now youre not talking about 3d printing just calling that technology of moving in 3axis with servos the broad term "3d printing" but its not its the making in plastic that makes it 3d printing
Youre right, but I assume the future OP is proposing where we not only know how human brain works, but can print it and it works, must have some sort of atomic scale manipulator
We can print strong metals... They already printed a working gun. Several actually... Not cost effective because they still charge novelty prices for that shit...
They print 3d skin-cells with ink-jet style printers, in 3D layers...
Have you just not been following-up on technology lately? Not great for a base of an argument.
Print living materials in your own home seems to me like something that may never exist. From experience, culturing cells is arduous and difficult. It takes practice and expertise, literally I've only known a handful of people who can do it well enough. It's like an art.
Now attempting to put them into a tube, keep them alive, and baste them into an 'organ' would be neigh impossible outside of a strict laboratory setting (aseptic). The general population is too shitty at science to do it right.
you are a fucking retard...
find a corner and quietly kill yourself..
creation of life is beyond human capacity..
if not give me one example of a human 'creating life'. Not birth thats not creation.
you dont have an answer proceed with suicide you devil infested hell bound puppet
like once, for a million dollars
your pratically saying "how long untill matter becomes irrelevent because of the overabundance of anitmater" while ignoring the fact that even a few particles of the stuff costs hundreds of billions to make
>Implying post-scarcity will not be great.
Also, Brave New World is flawed in that it assumes escapism is something new. We are not in the matrix, it wouldn't so easily like in the book.
>creation of life is beyond human capacity.
you just need to cum inside asshole
creating a juman body it's not that dificult, the problem comes when you talk about creating a mind or a soul, that's most likely imposible.
>According to advocates of 3D printing.
And according to those of us who use them in industry, build them, and in the last 3 months got a job with a cutting edge research company developing the "next generation" 3Dprinter (the owner is a half trust fund baby/half pure luck company investment billionaire)... well... the media propaganda "you can print guns!" and "human organs" and "you can print EVERYTHING!" is not going to happen the way the uneducated public thinks and wishes it will. For a 3Dprinter even worth having it will be decades before the pricing gets below $1000. Meanwhile you can keep me employed and the industry profitable by buying any type of 3Dprinter (good luck printing anything that isn't ribbed for your pleasure), the more you lower people buy the better the pricing on basic parts becomes.
Which come from experiences, with a brain capable of processing them (human brain). Brains can be printed. You'd get a retarded baby-man, that would theoretically take 18~ years to develop, but it would be done.
I am now imagining an ancient white-bearded god in Cloud City sitting at his PC printing people for the hell of it.
>go to the pirate bay
>download the blueprint for a sexy 23-year-old-looking brunette with huge boobs, and awesome bubble butt, and gorgeous green eyes
>turn my printer on
>wait two days, my bitch is finally done
>instantly cries, shits, and throws a fit because she's a newborn
how do we go from solid plastic pieces to food
I have always pondered how artificial food could be 'printed' since I was a child (starting over 25 years ago, im 35 now).
I still can't see how this would be possible, you can't 'print' taste or chemicals.
So you zap the non-living body and then presto it's alive? The problem with printing a human body would be it would need all of its components to fall together at once. If you tried to print a body layer by layer it would just fall apart.
sure use the ability to create fully functional bodies for sex not to achieve near immortality
sorry, unless you have any degree that proof that your time may worth something you better put good attention to my post
>turns out retarded downie because driver error in printer software
>dna malfunction leaves you with a nigger
>and drooling and shitting itself and can't walk and dies of cancer a month later
