Go on the Play Store and download Spy Camera OS (Open Source)
It has the best features imo, silences your phone, removes flash, puts up a mini camera for you to see on screen but other can't (unless they're over your shoulder or something) and has a black screen option where you can use volume trigger or simply tap the screen to capture a photo. Also has a burst option and video options, though those tend to lower the quality. Get it and start experimenting

But it was the same for me, mane. Gotta test it out at home and see what setting work best for you. The black screen is godtier tbh because if you can get the angle right, you can walk behind them like you're minding your own business while simultaneously getting multiple shots from different angles holding the phone by your side. and if you want to get an upper angle or see what you're doing if you know you won't get caught, use the mini camera overlay it initially uses. It has ultimate creep potential. But even with that said, don't knock it until you try it, but in the end, stick with what works best for you.
