So guys I just realized something. The current censorship that is occurring reminds me of an occurrence just a few years ago. Remember the last thing 4chan tried to truly kill? Ponies. Granted there isn't much similarity between GG and them but the attempting to kill it off is similar. The main differences here is who is doing it, back then it was the mods and the users trying to get rid of it. Now it's "supposedly" new mods trying to kill it (granted we don't know for sure if the mods were changed, but more than likely they were). Basically what I'm saying is that this situation could end up like the last one, meaning them trying to kill it is going to make it stronger. When you throw something in hell and it walks back out, you question whether or not it can actually die. What's happening to 4chan currently is a culmination of events that has occurred over the past year. The tumblr raids might be connected in a way, I heard (although are more than likely mistaken) that there was an actual attempted suicide during the raids (not the shit one that was spread around but a legit one) and somebody pushed against moot and he gave in. And the leaks are partially to blame for this (in my opinion at any rate). Remember in Black Lagoon how Chang tried to keep Roanapur out of the public eye? 4chan is the same way, but the leaks put us in the light and people now know of us, and they don't like what they see. It is completely possible that none of this is connected but it was something that I've noticed. This is all just apart of the conspiracy, but think about it, this is one of the few things that actually could kill us, the changing of the mods might be what does us in. Why? Because everything is is connected in someway. Where did the new mods come from? Why is this happening right after the leaks? There is probably more to this than we actually know, but this is my thoughts on it.

I don't know if it was because it was new and exciting when I first came here, or whether it's the case, but this site has always stood out to me from the mediocrity of every other social platform.
It always used to seem like 4chan was run by the people who used it, like one big living community, not being told what they are supposed to say.
