The reason he was shot was that he beat the crap out of the cop that told him to get out of the street. He also tried to get the cops gun. He taunted the cop once the cop had control of the gun and started to walk away. When the cop told him to stop Brown turned back WITH HIS ARM UP TO DELIVER ANOTHER BLOW! That's when he got shot. The cop had to go to the hospital with a broken eye socket.
