See, that's another problem: buying a system for just one or two games. So let's see, you're paying $400-500 for the system, $60 for the game, $60 for a year's worth of online, and possibly $60 for a decent set of headphones. Add $40 worth of DLC into that (or $50 if you didn't get the Season Pass), to all that, and you're paying well more than you should for a game that will not be as popular in less than a year. At least with Nintendo, you can cut that cost in half, at the least.

I'd think anyone who wants the most out of their games would care about that. Smashing on a DS is great, but it doesn't quite capture the intensity nor quality of being able to do it on a console. Not to mention the addition of what I call "character keys" (similar to Ranger Keys from Gokaiger/Super Megaforce) that also add to the console-game, as well as things I don't have to pay extra in DLC for, and you've got yourself one of the most unique and exciting gaming experiences ever to come out of the industry. I'm looking forward to this Holiday season for Smash Bros, as well as Hyrule Warriors and the MANY new games they have announced to be working on. Just need TimeSplitters 4 to put the icing on the cake.
