Those towels do look nice and fluffy but id worry about over doing it with the green if you start bringing it into other rooms. Also i believe that is some sort of ficcus plant the are generally low maintenance and make a good plant for someone really just getting started with house plant husbandry

A soft blue might work, but for a 3-color system you're looking for

You're almost there OP, that blue is a little too dark, to the point that it's almost purple. It might just be that the fabric has some red lowlights to it. Perhaps a blue a little bit brighter, and slightly greener would work. Like this.
