Ask a guy who just hit Diamond anything. Also, general LoL discussion thread.
lol, not in the pro scene = casual, having to rune-control while microing the cour for ur bottle while farming and denying and watching out for invi smoke gang in mid (u dont even have invi in the shit game)
Dota died when Dota 1 stopped being constantly supported, besides it has an absurd learning curve so no one bothers to learn
>Why don't you post your profile then
I don't understand which game you are making fun of
Nah I've seen some good Swains in High Plat/Low Diamond. And he's seen play in the LCS as well recently.
Nah, I'm just a skin whore so I buy a skin for every champ that I play. I own all 3 Vi skins and alternate between them when I play her.
Vi. I have a little over 300 ranked games as her this season, maintaining a 54.5% winrate with her.
Because Trinity-Statikk Nidalee falls off super hard, especially against our late game comp.
This is pretty much what happened. Akali would keep getting caught by our team trying to pick off our Ryze for some reason. That and the fact that we were able to secure 2 barons, one of them with me outsmiting their Vi.
I'm trying to get out of gold 1 maining adc.
4/5 times nobody on my team knows that winning is as simple as not feeding and taking objectives, how the fuck do i carry these retards and get out of gold?
I usually try to go at least 2/0 in my lane, take tower shortly after 10-15 minutes, take drag depending on where their team is, and go mid and push that down, but my team will never follow my pings.
Am i doing something wrong?
Easy. Used to be challenger in 3s but let it decay cause game was/is boring.
AD carry is honestly the worst role when it comes to carrying ranked (If I rated it best to worst, it would be Mid, Jungle, Support, Top, ADC). This is because AD carries are so reliant on your team to tank for you and protect you and whatnot. If you want to climb as adc, I'd recommend either playing Trist for freelo or learning/playing Vayne so you can just outplay the enemy team. Once you become good enough to carry your team, you'll start to climb.
Ill start practicing mid then.
I used to main mid last season with fizz and kass, but after their nerfs i stopped playing them.
Ive been practicing ahri and swain lately, any other mid champs i should learn that can carry well?
Im going to college in 4 days so I dont know how much free time I'll have.
You can carry with Hecarim if you get fed enough. I played against a really good Hecarim a few days ago who straight solo carried his team.
I have around 70% win rate with him. But I play him very rarely, since everyone wants to be mid all the time.
In fact half of my losses come from retards surrendering. Since he's the best character for a turn-around. If you're having a bad game, just def turrets and hope they'll be stupid enough to try to tank them. (If not, they'll have really really hard time pushing it)
I get what you mean
I'm Silver 2, I was Bronze 3, and some games just make you lost hope in humanity. I'm not a pro player, I'm only Silver, but some games make me stop LoL for a week.
Actually... Adc is one of the hardest roles to carry an evenly matched game, but is the easiest role to win lane and hyper carry with practice. Its the easiest role to stomp the lane if you have more practice with your enemy.
ADC is actually harder to carry with in solo queue due to the fact that if your team doesn't peel for you, or if you have complete ass mechanics/orb walking/positioning. then you're most likely going to lose.
you know how the lp system work ?
The more you play the more you will earn lp.
For example a 500w/500l you can be diamond because the system of lp is fucked
so hitting diamond at 1K game is almost easy, it's like the system give it to you.
What? When you just enter a league, your LP gain rates are higher. As you remain in a tier/division more, you start to settle into the division more and the LP gains/losses start to minimize as a result. You couldn't be more wrong.
Why the fuck would you spend $70 to create your own shitty rpg that nobody but you would think is good and only because you convinced yourself that you justified spending that much to create your "totally badass, would sell a ton of copies if you took it to retail" game?
>I got it on sale
Still not worth the price, moron.
I also hit diamond when I was gold this season, trust me you gonna drop to Platin like me and my friend did who were the only Dia players from our friends, one guy is diamond now, probably hopefully going to drop soon
What the fuck are you on about. That's clearly league
Just gonna assume you're a retarded troll. Enjoy your day
My mother's house doesn't have a basement faggot. Check your facts
Sorry, when you live in a Florida beach house, basements don't exist
I gave up on league 2 weeks ago.
Ever since summer started, every 3/5 games, I seem to get some kids on my team that don't know the concept of playing safe after letting the enemy get ahead in items. For some reason in their mind after they gave them 2 kills, they should push to the turret and stay there, of course not putting any wards results in instant death.
Before you tell me "omg noob learn to carry instead of crying",
Then you get bot laners that feed the enemies ADC so badly, and spend half the time messaging someone else (yes its obvious when they keep going back to turret for a few seconds and back to hitting minions, which is a huge annoying thing, as I play ranked to win, not to spend the game typing to others. After they feed the enemies ADC so badly, usually a score of 15/2/5 or better, they then focus on enemies tanks which scores of 1/1/13 and full armour, even when the enemy ADC is the first to engage.
Also have seen a spike in players that just don't listen to you. How hard is it to listen to your team mates when they tell you to fall back and not engage 1v5 into baron, giving them the baron and a kill, and finishing the game whilst we are 4v5. Even if you did get baron, it's not enough most of the time to win 4v5 late game especially when your top laner keeps building full damage instead of tank, and you have a full glass cannon team.
Dota 2 is no better.
I'll wait till all the kids go back to school before I start again. Dropped from plat 5 to silver 1 in the last 4 weeks.
>implying saying you live in extravagance without posting proof means anyone will believe you
I guess you win you retarded pile of trash. You really pulled the wool over my eyes on this one.
Go fuck yourself.
>posts a 4 word reply after the thread had already devolved from the discussion of said game
>"we're talking about a game you meanie head"
We sure are talking about a game in this thread. We sure are. Fuck you.
I dropped too cause of people like that this summer. You can't carry late game when 2/5 of your team are too busy doing something other than focusing on playing the game.
I actually start laughing everytime they try to make it look like your fault.
Typically goes something like this:
>7 mins in, I'm jungling, bot is feeding 2v2
>Our Varus complains I don't help so I go to camp there
>enemy jungler is AFK so should be free win
>we all have full hp and almost full mana at this point, enemy Adc on half and Braum on full hp
>I ping for Leo and Varus to target Draven
>instead Leo ults and dives into Braum, and Varus starts running back to our turret
>I'm Warwick, so I engage Draven and ult him thinking Varus will come and help
>Braum and Draven both focus me and I die whilst Leo is still stunning and focusing Braum, instead of Draven that's dealing 150 damage a second
>Leo dies too, both enemies still alive
>10 seconds later Varus starts moving again, says,"omg you idiots I was messaging my friend why engage"
>sees Draven with little hp, tried to kill him and dies
930+ games for Diamond V? Youre what I like to call a sub diamond, you have the diamond wrapper now but your skill level is probably somewhere near mid plat.
It's not hard to grind out diamond at all.
Pic related it's me
Any champs that you dont need to rely on your team but still carry? (I.E. Syndra)
I often find that i do worse if i have to rely on my team.
For example i like playing tanks and drawing aggro but you cant carry as a tank and you have to rely on your team to do dmg.
So i just stopped playing tanks on ranked.
Is ADC still good for getting out of Bronze/Silver if you're good enough with the mechanics? I've been thinking of maining Vayne for a while now. I've gotten good to the point where I almost never lose lane and have miles more CS than my opponent and I can shred tanks easy late game.
What are your thoughts on climbing with Udyr? I recently finished my provisionals and placed silver 2. I plan to keep climbing (I know I can get at least gold). I main jungle but I'm teaching myself Orianna so I can have a mid/support I'm competent with if I can't get jungle.
Any lane can get you out of Bronze/Silver if your mechanics are good enough.
But I suppose you can get far with Vayne before people realise how to go full ham on her early and have someone rush a Frozen Heart.
You ever think this is why you are silver/bronze. The system works stop bitching and blaming everyone else, I do elojobs and am very high d1 let me tell you carrying in silver and bronze is the easiest thing in the world, I get mad if I lose. Just recently I was given a boost where the guy was in his promo to diamond and was already 1-2 had to win 3 in a row. I picked not 3 times carried each one. Only reason I'm even typing is cause my main is banned... Sadly so Im only playing when I get a boost and don't have one ATM.
>system does work more then it fails
Ya some games it becomes close to impossible but that's when you have to make a play. If you are the bungler and see 3 not and your Tim is at mid t2 call fucking baron. I find it easiest to win in lower elo by just roaming... I do my boosts strictly mid or jungle. A lot of eve\zed\vi\ahri\sydra and I will always pick kass no matter what if he's free.
>can't get easier elo then with kass
We're talking Bronze/Silver.
These are the people who go camp bushes thinking they can get an edge on Vayne with a wall behind them.
So much auto correct...
>if you see 3 bot and you are mid call fucking baron.
>3games as nocturne
Also just cause I do my boosts as mid/jungle doesn't mean shit I know a kid that does his boost only playing max and the kids a monster wins like 85% of his games in diamond. I know not lane duos that boost as well...
Start with a champion that can take a lot of punishment before becoming obsolete in the game like a toplane Trundle or Garen or botlane Caitlyn.
Learn game mechanics with these relatively safe and easy champions and work your way towards riskier picks from there on out.
Just give every role ( top lane / jungle ( which could be a bit more challenging to new players / mid lane and ad carry ) a shot and focus on the one that you feel is most fun for you to play
proceed with trying several champions that seem intresting to you and play a couple rounds with them
you will get the hang of it with the time (your calculations[mechanics] will develop with every game, just be patient)
and don't give any fucks about flaming fucks with fucking smurf accounts
dont buy runes until 30 or whenever you can buy tier 3 runes, low levels dont jungle its a waste of time until you have runes/more masteries focus more on last hitting/playing conservatively than worrying about your kill death ratio
You're literally retarded.
I know I'm bad, but I think I've improved alot in the past few months and I'm ready to finish my placement matches. I never claimed that playing a certain role will get me out of it, but aren't you supposed to just play the very best role you are good at? Hence why I asked if ADC is still a good role for that seeing as to how it's my favorite role, but the recent indirect nerfs to them have hurt them.
But whatever helps you keep your little superiority complex.
I was gold 2 once and now due to inactivity dropped back to silver 1. Havent really played in months. Just the casual aram to get my daily win bonus.
I can not seem to find a champion that suits me. I get bored to fast and want to try other things than just play two champions in one position all day long.
I figured out that my positioning is quite bad, therefore I need champions that can reposition themselves at a teamfight.
Do you have any advice?
Was it in Season 3? Because Season 3 doesn't count seeing as to how ADCs are kinda weak now honestly. I'm having second thoughts now about maining ADC to get out of Bronze. ADCs no longer are demigods... Unless you're Lucian, Jinx, Vayne, or Tristana.
The thing that gets me the most about bad players is that they focus too hard on the wrong goddamned things. Learn to walk before you learn to run.
I hear my bronze friends ask me questions about positioning, the pros and cons of certain runes, meta strategy, and subtle intricacies of the game, when really they need to just stop sucking. Stop running in 1v3, stop getting caught with skillshots, look at the fucking minimap because wards dont ping for you, and last hit cs better.
Trist has good kill potential with your support at level 2, especially against weaker laners such as Vayne.
That being said, all you want to do is farm and survive for 30-40 minutes, and you've basically got a free win.
Sup /b/, I like to play Jax (Top Lane). Any other good top lane champs /b/ would recommend?
