What does /b/ think about this computer i am assembling?

Please tell me if there's any small tweaks i should make, preferably to save money

NZXT 820 Phantom case

GIGABYTE GA-Z97-D3H motherboard

MSI GeForce GTX660 GPU

Intel i5 4430 i5 3ghz CPU

8GB Ripjaw RAM, 2133MHZ

Corsair cx600 PSU

Standard 1TB SATA drive

gonna upgrade to SSD later.

Anything i should change? Any parts that's overpriced?
And can i upgrade to watercooling later? Thanks /b/

>Intel i5 4430 i5 3ghz CPU
Go big or go home, just get the 4690
>8GB Ripjaw RAM, 2133MHZ
anything above 1600 is a waste of money, make sure the timing is 9-9-9-24
>Corsair cx600 PSU
Seasonic or XFX
>Standard 1TB SATA drive
The fuck is a "standard" 1tb drive?

Want to save money? Don't buy a fucking $140 case.

Watercooling a shit
>>
You can't overclock that CPU. Either get a K CPU, or drop the motherboard to an H97 board to save money.

The 660 is shit. Get a 760.

CX power supplies aren't great. Try and get a better one.

RAM above 1600MHz is pointless if you aren't using an APU.
>>
>>562091753
it looks FUCKING SHIT
>>
>>562091952
Not gonna upgrade CPU, this one is good enough.
Gonna downgrade to 1600 if you think so, the pricedifference is minimum though
Why not corsair?
I don't understand your comment on watercooling
>>
>>562091952
you're cool as fuck. corsair power supplies are beautiful and my 750 came in a black velvet drawstring bag with the corsair logo EMBROIDERED on it. a "standard" 1tb drive would by 7200 rpm rather than SSD.

intuition much?

It's not even thirty dollars for a lot more power. Seriously, get a fucking $40 case and toss the rest into a 4690 and better GPU.
Corsair is shit, that's why it's cheap.
Watercooling is shit, expensive and dangerous.

Depending on your budget, you should buy a full size ATX case that's cheaper. There's plenty on newegg with great ratings.

You can afford to cheaper up a bit on the mobo.

Get a 760 ti instead of a 660.

You should up the clock rate on the CPU if you've money to spare.

RAM doesn't need to be more than 1600 MHz.

Get a modular PSU, it will make your final build a whole lot cleaner.

By standard 1TB, do you like one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840&cm_re=barracuda-_-22-148-840-_-Product? Then that's fine.

Get a 64 GB SSD when you can, you won't need more than that.
>>
>>562096615
>You should up the clock rate on the CPU if you've money to spare.
Clock rate means shit these days.
>>
>>562096615
thanks for your contribute

But what is a modular psu?
>>
>>562096746
>But what is a modular psu?
It means you can pick what cables you can attach so you don't have half of them in a coil in the bottom of your case. The one I gave you is semi-modular which is all you need. Full-mod is a waste of money.,
>>
>>562096848
I see. thanks.

Could you help me on partpickr, or are you still convinced that the one you sent me first is best?
>>
>>562096953
Definitely get a modular/semi-modular PSU, this guy>>562096848 is right.
>>
>>562096953
For the US market the one I sent is the best you're gonna get but since you're in Denmark and PCPP doesn't have a setting for that I have no idea.
>>
>>562097076
I think i can get the same parts, at roughly the same price, but not at these stores.
Any tweaks to http://pcpartpicker.com/p/H4Xfxr?
>>
>>562097170
Not really but I'll give you some advice if you can't find some of the parts.

>RAM
RAM is your dump stat. Brand doesn't matter, clock doesn't matter, as long as you have enough. 8GB is plenty, pick the cheapest one with good reviews and 9-9-9-24 timings.

>PSU
Semi-modular, Gold rated. Seasonic, XFX are the go too brands in the US, I've heard nice things about a euro brand called Superflower or something like that. You won't need more than 550-600watts.

>Case
Seriously, getting something in the 40-50 dollar range, mid tower, ATX with room for more fans.
>motherboard
See the black cubes around the socket with like 3 white characters one them? The more of those the better. Stick with Asus or Gigabyte, don't spend more than about $150. Get a Z97

Everything else you should be able to find okay.
>>
>>562097678
Personally I'd go with a full-sized ATX case. But depends on budget and whatnot since you'll have to drop ~100 or so for good one. Everything won't be so clumped together and if you decide to seriously upgrade your storage you'll have plenty of hdd bays to make up for it.
>>
>>562097678
thanks. That was the overview i needed of things.
>>
>>562097874
Mid towers are fine unless you get an actual tiny one. And putting more than ~3 HDDs in a single tower is pants on head retarded, they'll shake themselves to death and they fuck with your airflow bad.
>>
>>562091753
