>>560254440 It's basically a form of panic attacks/hallucinations that I occasionally get just be for sleep or after waking up inn the small hours of the morning, normally involves things seeming very small/far away and my perception of size being completely fucked >>560254516 6.4 inches
>>560254342 I've actually had this shit, would happen to me at night when I was little, thing's would get super fucking far away and walking to them would take hours exc, was insane, now that I look back at it it was probably a glitch in the matrix or something along those lines.
When I was a kid I would sometimes get the feeling that things I look at are suddenly far smaller or far farther away than they actually seem. I didn't think much of it and thought it was quite cool. Now I don't seem to ever get anything like that.
>>560255004 Ever since I was a kid I've had these times when I've closed my eyes and I felt like the room was about 100 meters across, with everything still to scale. It goes back to normal when I open my eyes. Is this anything to do with it?
>>560256651 >Mfw triggered >>560257010 I would sort of have that only it won't go back to normal for me when I open my eyes, I also am unable to properly feel texture I.e. my bedcovers feels like stone and the floor is bouncy like a trampoline.
>>560257924 I haven't had any brain injuries, I've been told some people have a genetic predisposition to it. >>560258009 It is often likened to a bad psychotropic drug induced trip, and apparently being drunk causes it, but dosent seem to make a difference for me.
>>560258084 I don't, but sometimes it feels like my arms/legs are really fucking long or that my head really heavy. Other times things seem to be towering over me or incredibly zoomed in/small >>560258761 I'm not aware of any but apparently they are common with this. >>560258847 >>560258578
>>560259074 is that the same as triggering you transductional cascade?
>>560259210 wait... you mean to tell me that there are people who troll by purposely taking the bait trolls laid out? so tzhe trolls think they actually trolled when in reality they are being trolled...????
>>560258761 You ever had a really bad fever? Like 103, 104? If you try to sleep like that you enter this kind of low-level delirium. Part of your brain goes to sleep but another part stays awake and you basically get really vivid, weird as fuck acid-trippy dreams. You remember every detail of them too and they can last for hours, and they stay with you when you wake up. Its pretty terrifying. I don't have a fever, but something's up in my head and I still get em.
>>560254342 i have this issue where i dream so intensely even when im not fully asleep it merges with being conscious. like one time i was on the couch, dozed for a second, got up to go to bed, and the whole fuckin floor was this crazy moving green pattern. when i got in to bed, i was sitting up and looking around, and(this part is hard to explain) thr design on my blanket came off in a holographic net, and wrapped around somthing in the shape of a person standing right next to my bed. i stared at it, it was the equvilent of a manican. went to sleep.
>>560260391 Maybe, but the other symptoms make it really strange, considering I also get auditory hallucinations along with it (incomprehensible whispering) I think it would still be pretty unpleasant but not terrifying. >>560260663 If I feel it coming on I can read but normally the urge to gtfo is overwhelming (sorry I forgot to reply)
>>560261021 I only have very fleeting moments of terror, and its more annoying then its scary. The letters when I read tend to wooble and jump in and out of the page, the same kinda with faces. I can somewhat force it when I read and are tired
>>560260373 >>560262398 My brother has also had a series of epileptic episodes. I'm glad I don't get the panic, I "only" sometimes get the feeling of being made of heavy, consistent clay, thats getting vut with a piano wire. Hard to descript, super unpleasant
>>560259927 Had the same once when I was around 7-8. I woke up in the middle of the night and everything seemed to be so close. Didn't know there was a medical condition for it. Was really terrifed/scared at that moment.
I'm sure I had this when I was younger, but I'm also sure I had obsessive compulsive disorder (I had a some weird compulsions: I had to jump and have my feet off the ground when the mechanical garage door closed, and I needed to be in bed before the water stopped running when I used the toilet at night.)
I can relate to you, but your problem is probably much more severe than what I've experienced. Hope it gets milder and doesn't trouble you as much in the future.
Still, it doesn't sound very serious, just a temporary feeling of terror and a loss of spatial context? Could be a lot worse.
>>560254342 >Had this as a young child, around 6-8. Very vivid hallucinations and distorted proportions. Even sounds were distorted, and could even trigger an episode. My fucking dog had to get an all plastic collar just so it wouldn't trigger one from metal jingling in the night. Some times it would even be triggered in the evening on the couch watching TV. Not sure if this is the same but I know that feel OP.
I am not really sure how i got over it, but im pretty sure it had to do with sleeping in the same room as another person. Also having a night light i could focus on seemed to help during an episode. Anything that i knew was of proper proportions that i could see at night.
