And I like those :
There's just no need to bring the army into it more than is relevant. Last thread was full of soldiers, since apparently they feel things more deeply and importantly than mundane people.
being in close proximity to misery and death changes how people see things, regardless of occupation. you sound bitter.
i like these because they challenge your outlook and make you think
>soldiers, since apparently they feel things more deeply and importantly than mundane people.
It's because soldiers go through heavier shit than average american teenage girls do
>I like these because they challenge your outlook and make you think.
Again I agree, and your pic is a perfect example of overusing soldiers and the army. How is the bottom picture more powerful or touching than the top one? Which is the whole point, constrasting the two situations to show how insignificant the justgirlything one is.
How is waiting for a soldier husband more powerful than waiting for a sailor, journalist or foreign aid doctor?
because the guy was tortured in a POW camp for almost 6 years
what the fuck is it with people and material possessions?

>having to do the job that you applied for and accepted
no anon that's called life and being a government payrolled goon doesn't make you any more special than joe burger flipper or tyrone the software engineer
>mountains of skulls
the mongols think your pile of bones is adorable
the simple truth is that for many people around the world, experiencing violence and death is a part of day to day life. our society had largely insulated us from violence and suffering, sometimes to the point where we completely lose perspective on what it means to suffer.
it's not about glorifying the military, it's about being able to appreciate the human experience and to get out from behind your bubble of complacency.
also, what is the draft/conscription?
Anybody have the French Foreign Legion one? "Wanting to run away from home" or something like that
Everytime I see the bottom pic, it reminds me of that scene in Starship Troopers. The one near the end where they meet the new recruits and they all look like highschool freshmen.
He's just one of those neckbeards that thinks he's thinking outside the box to hate soldiers because you disagree with why they are at war.
And i dont say neckbeard offhand, every single moron I have encountered in real life with that viewpoint has been completely unfit, and would have no chance of doing what the so called "welfare queens" do even in peacetime.
By the gods, there's probably no one in the world whom I hate more than Hillary Clinton
Maybe that was their...
True story, the guy aiming the gun would go on to own a pizza shop in america.
I hate the kind of girls who make this shit in complete seriousness. Like, I fucking hate these "redpill" cockgobblers, but I go to college, and I fucking hate these airheaded cunts who go there and just spend the whole class waving to their boyfriends on Skype or whatever.
That being said, in my experience men of the same age are about the same level of retarded. It's a different kind of retarded though.
>I'm a guy btw.
oh man, watched that so many times as a kid - too bad noone make movies like that. Gotta love that satire.
and epic landing scenes
