Ask a paramilitary contractor that was just assigned to Russia anything. I work for a company called RamOPS. I wish I old show proof, but any proof will result in my termination. Restarting the thread from yesterday.
Most training isn't really training, more or less field testing. I had to work an assignment before I was formally accepted. Differs for every company. My pay can vary from how many contracts I take a year, last year I took 4 and I got about 220k. Being foreign helps if you know the language, otherwise it plays no role. If you plan on working with the united states, you'll need to be a citizen
Just a random stock image, sorry
Fuck off, nobody asked you and stop hiding in sage mode fag
I'm not obligated to kill, I'm not a hitman. I kill in situations where I am designated to, but only by a superior. I don't ever make that decision on my own unless it's life or death. That being said, 5 people killed by my own disposition, about 6 by order, I wouldn't do more if I didn't have to. I don't use drugs, and most of the time I feel like I can drink away the number.
Contents in the middle east last for up to 4 years, but range in 500k-700k. But that's in an active war zone. Most of my contracts last 2-3 months.
If you can get in contact with a recruiter, I'm sure there's a place for you. Did you work special forces or just regular army?
Do you have to buy your own gear?
Can you wear and use whatever you want or is there a "uniform" you have to conform to?
One of my buddies worked as a specialist with your skill set, although he didn't last too long. I would meet up with a recruiter to see if you're of use or not
I've thought about it, but nobody cares if I die, so there's no reason.
Uniform is whatever you want, but you cannot identify with a formal military unless stated so. Weapons are provided, clothes are not.
Do you have any mele skills which you could use for your advantage vs a civilian in, lets say a bar fight or smth?
That's a very stupid way of looking at it, but if I was in a fight I would most probably win unless my opponent was larger. Most skill doesn't come in throwing the punch, it's whoever has the balls to go all the way and tackle the other one.
sorry to hear that battle.
on a brighter note, how many Russian whores did you bang out?
when i was in germany holy hell straight throw the pussy at you but some arnt the best lookers
Locating a recruiter isn't through online services. In fact most companies don't even have websites, it's all through word of mouth or at conventions. RamOPs isn't online for a variety of reasons, first of which being because they serve VIPs, not countries. Start low, you'll be doing some pretty shitty work when you start. But as you rise up, the pay will grow and so will your credibility.
You can ask me anything apart from why I joined, I'll answer them all to the best of my ability.
I don't know anymore, it's gotten pretty bad. I doubt it's PTSD as I don't feel bad for what I've done, but I know it's wrong. I guess we'll see.
by russia you mean ukrain right ? no way russia is need of any skilled available military men since they have plethora themselves. not to mention their distrust in anything from USA.
also watch this. i can imagine you will have a good time what non-military people can come up with about your field of work.
I don't think your average patron could lay a finger on Jet Li in a bar room brawl, no matter how many balls they have
Anyways, how long have you been doing this work?
I'm assuming it's for the escorting and transport of VIPs, but I won't know until 2 weeks from now when I leave. I probably won't be on the front lines, or at least I hope not.
Assuming you aren't some edgy teenager, I wouldn't do it for the joy of killing. There is no fun in it, and there is no novelty. I learned that a while ago.
ive learned to live with that fucked up feeling. dont regret the lives i ended. i think im just fucked in the head, i honestly miss killing as crazy as that sounds. just knowing that i had the ability to end a life gave me a hard on.
it is by far one of the most alpha as fuck things any man can do.
i recommend smoking pot if you have no feelings toward life.
remember OP what you did was just a job and you should have no emotional connection to it what so ever.
More than once, I've been shot about 4 times. Nothing extremely serious however. Worst was probably when I got in a car crash though.
Sounds shady as fuck, exactly why I would recommend face to face conversation.
I don't know man, it hurts to face what I've done, but I can usually drink it away. Anyways, can you change the subject, I really don't want to cry today.
OP, not a specific question for your position but just asking.
ive broken my leg really badly one time but really want to get into special ops. some of my friends say you cant be drafted into that kind of sector if you had an injury like this, thoughts?
lol wish i was 18 again go re enlist for the shit storm thats soon to start.
ive already been shot shit fucking burns.
yea my 1sg told me im fucked in the head like 3 months into our deployment. i was going to be a DS if i stayed in. said fuck that shit i can never fill my DS shoes cause that asshole made me into a emotionless reaper
pic related me before OSUT
So I'm planning to join the Dutch Special Forces (KCT) and when I'm done with that I had the idea to do some bodyguarding, but paramilitary also sounds good.
But the thing is how do you enter that type of shit man all the bodyguarding and paramilitary stuff. Do you look on the internet? Or some old SWAT collegue knew about this paramilitary company. How does it work and what steps did you take?
got uniform too
>op is lying
>provided no proof of knowledge beyond a forum link
>overly dramatic and emotional
>why are you believing any of this
>sage to the moon
>Caution stay back 100 meters or you will be shot
>Text not big enough to be read from 10 meters
before you signed up for that mission didnt you know what were you going into ? the pro-russian militia leader said he will only take hostage of ukrainian soldiers. the national guard (volunteers) and mercenaries will be executed or so some russians say.
I met my contact in Iraq in 1995, he only hooked up with me in 08 though, he needed to fill a spot in a team. He then recommended me to his company, and I've worked there ever since. Get off your ass and go meet some other special forces and ask them, the older guys usually know. I wouldn't know anything about body guarding though.
The novelty wears off pretty soon, and you can't tell most people what you do for a living.
If you're still able and can complete the Navy Seal requirements, I'm sure you'll make it into any special forces with enough effort.
It is not.
chill OP nothing is wrong with crying. i honestly was crying right now. thinking of my deployment.
im not sad when i cry they are just tears. so what people died. ive seen dead afghan kids and watched as friendly fire took out a allied vic. shit happens it was the past.
in the Army if you had that happen no way youll be going to Sf or any combat school even JOTC and a woman passed that. i got shot in the arm and they wanted me to go back home i was like fuck that shit i lost a brother and im damn sure aint leaving cause some haji couldn't finish me off
How do i get inn contact with a recruiter?
if you don't have a contract do you just sit at home or do you train with RamOPS?
>What do you do with fun?
Your employer's website appears to be broken. I'd imagine your business to be mostly word-of-mouth but a non-functioning website would appear less than professional to those who come across it.
Do you plan on fucking a slav while you are in Russia?
if you have a wife and kids what do they think about this kind of job?
>What skills do you bring to the table for your company?
Do you walk around looking like a badass as seen here
blackwaters website got the same deal
I don't browse that forum, but it seems like a good place to get started in advertising yourself. Requirements differ from company to company,
Believe what you want, I'm just trying to put the job in its bluntest terms. All that shit you see in the movies and games isn't the slightest bit real, you do things that are 10x worse.
Most of it is government work, but my company hosts for the private sector, a more niche group.
I enjoy biking a lot, I do quite a bit of that to stay in shape. Off contract is pretty day to day, just laze around and call for small contracts here and there. I'd search for a contact by looking at large firms like Blackwater, you'll be doing pretty shit work but you'll establish yourself.
The site was never up in the first place as I just learned, word of mouth is 10x more important that any else in this career, contacts make everything. Niche forums usually have somewhere to start
Not really, on most contracts it's usually just a pair of old jeans with a tshirt and my usual gear like a vest and etc. I wouldn't carry anything that heavy. Besides, I'm not allowed to associate with a country unless asked to.
I have no wife or kids, and I don't know when or if I'll ever have one. I might fuck one, I don't know yet. Most of my skills come from my years of experience, I'm not a specialist(meaning that I'm not a sniper, diver, jumper, etc), but I perform generally well and the experience is probably my greatest asset in getting contracts.
I enjoy biking, I'm teaching myself how to play the piano right now. I'm still trying to get into PC gaming, but right now I'm not sure if I have time for it.
after you recover its a fun shit storm of paper work and JAG, mainly a shitty desk job afters.
my wound wasnt terrible although when i finally got to a medic he was shitting bricks cause i packed the fuck out of it with dirt and the tourniquet was really ghetto makeshift. all and all a good day to get hit with a 7.62 still have the scar on my arm it gets the bitches wet
Maybe to start a family, maybe to get my record straight. Problem is that quitting is a bit more difficult than it seems. I'd have to take my names off quite a bit of lists to get out of the business. I hope it happens soon though, the world is getting to be a messy place nowadays
what languages do you speak?
can you name some more pmc company's
I would love to get inn contact with someone i am generally interested in this kind of stuff.
I would love to see a qualifications list
damn haha, paperwork is always shit. and i though bitches were getting wet by me saying "yeah i got ran over by a car and you could see the bone of my ankle out of the side, no biggie"
props to you man
I only speak english, pmc's don't care about how many languages you speak as much as the actual army and special forces. I'd be happy to give you some company names, what country do you live in or do you plan on operating with? Qualifications generally differ, for my company it was along the lines of prior special forces work, fewer than 3 blood relatives, and they usually field test you as well
I find it hard to believe that PMCs will pay that much. I've always heard they can pay some decent money at the expense of health care and shit like that.
What did you do in the other countries/contracts? Don't have to go into detail, but the general goal.
That falls under the things I can't share. Once you work for a certain company, they intend to squeeze as much out of you as possible before your eventual death or end of contract. After that is when they really fuck you.
Depends entirely on who you want. The big companies pimp their guys out to fight with the US army, smaller companies won't do that and will sell their guys to the highest bidder. Usually some richass oil lord that needs safe transport or just general protection.
Nah I'm just fine, nothing I can't sort out myself.
Your body usually doesn't come home when you die, unless your family pays for people to retrieve they will leave it(Costs too much to bring back). They don't want to deal with the hassle.
OP after i came home from a 4 year war i was 20. My head was fucked up. I wanted more combat and pretty soon i was off doing your job. Except i was working in the underground. Still am. I just wanted to say with good friends and a strong mindset you wont get deppressed anymore just keep up the good work and dont think about it.
It is quite common, and even more common that they cover it up. What you see in the news is 1/10th of what really goes down.
If you're willing to start with bottom of the barrel jobs, you'll surely get a few jobs here and there. But high profile jobs will require some background and expertise. When I say low level, I mean equivalent pay in terms of the army.
>The world is getting to be a pretty messy place nowadays
Can you expand on this? Any old idiot that watches minimal amounts of news can see that the world is destabilizing; I'm wondering if you can perhaps contextualize this destabilizaiton?
I can guarantee you that the reason I'm going to Russia is to escort the rich VIPs, god forbid anything happening to them. Russia is definitely planning something big, if they weren't I wouldn't being going there. They're poking America, and I want no part in fighting their war.
I have a team and we normally find fast and easy money. Kill a drug lord, raid a safehouse easy shit. But every once in a while this guy who knows everything and every bit of gossip in the country finds us a big one. You ever done shit like that OP?
Jumpers are definitely specialists, they will be paid more but will do some seriously dirty work. My buddy told me a story of how he once dropped with 6 air force recon and 4 contractors, only 3 came back. It's a fucked job.
No reason for me to, and I'd be missing out on a paycheck. Although if someone paid me to do it, I might consider it.
No, never local jobs. Sounds pretty decent, hows the pay?
Fast, easy pay. Nothing high nothing low. Currently were doing a big one, eliminating dealers who are competition of our good friend and constant employer. Its gonna be a big pay
>do you think this is an accurate representation?
Too fast it is as in were making mistakes and getting too cocky. Its bad man we made news headlines... but in the video where we shot the dealer my friends face was covered up but still that was too big of a mistake
try following international relations and news stories like that.
>companies hiring 'security' to help extract resources out of shitholes like the Congo where there is no strong central govt.
>African states where there is a whole economy based on stolen oil from pipelines belonging to multi-national corps.
>Balkans...being the Balkans as usual.
Russia stirring the pot in Ukraine and China honing in on every ones shit like a belligerent asshole doesnt help things either.
What is the worst thing in your mind you think you have done? How hard is it for you to not have very strong connections with society? Are you socially awkward or is it easy to just ignore other people?
When you say it doesn't bother you does it mean you dont care like truly dont care at all? Or do you just try to ignore the problems?
If I had the logistical and organizational skills + resources I'd start up a company like yours with contractors maybe.
There are less morally ambiguous jobs that those skills may be useful for. Like protecting reserves in African states from poachers.
>but still that was too big of a mistake
he got promoted ?
by any chance if op is lurking i d appreciate if you would drop by european chan board krautchan.net/int and inform us about the real situation in ukrain. we are having constant threads about the russian-ukrainian conflict and you might benefit from investigating the situation before you go and there are a lot of ukrainians participating too.
Im not entirely sure what to do with my life. Im not absolutely hopeless or any shit, Can get extremely fit within 1-2 Years if i wanted to put the effort in, But lack money and motivation for education and all of that shit. 21 y/o, Not totally depressed but mostly bored and unsure of what to do with my life.
Canadianfag too. I've always found something romantic about the Soldier life, But even i know it would be shit. I realize i could die a painful death, or worse, live with horrible injuries/ptsd, But i cant stand doing nothing in life.
Also, are many canadafags in PMC work?
>trying to get into PC gaming, but right now I'm not sure if I have time for it.
