ITT Post your vehicles and be judged by others Pic related my weekend car
My daily. Because cheap and good around town.
this used to be my car, but then I sold it
worst decision ever
this is my car now
transmission problems out the fucking ass
Everyone hates on hondas but there's something great about the sensation of "cam boost"
mostly uncomfortable, put a bit too much money into the paint and I was uncomfortable taking it mudding or anything. Wish i still had it, sold her a few years ago
Got this one now
everyone hates hondas? why?
Hondas are reliable as fuck, that car got me through sooo many years of driving, fucker got stolen like 4 times, always came back. Shit got fucked up over the years from being stolen, crashed into, broken into, shit was a beast. Ran like a champ until the day I "upgraded" to a volkswagen....once I got my nazi car though...transmission problems everywhere
It's got the smoothest ride, stupidly roomy especially in the back seat. Back windows are almost blacked out so no one can tell if your getting your dick sucked by another man or a woman! Steering is a bitch when it's parked, but it gets about 25mpg highway so I can't complain.
NA but am slowly buying the parts to go single
>people owning a car after 1990
But this this is my dd. 70% of the time it doesn't start the first time but I love it. Also the whole front end of the car is the hood it's dope as fuck.
Um no.. bought it as a wreck for 2k spent no more than 3k getting it on the road So fiberglass panels were cheaper than OEM and i'm saving for some work meisters
My gay turbo miata... makes 263whp slide it every event I can!
Poorfags who think they are good with cars but don't realize they are just poor and need to feel good about themselves:
Impractical poorfag who would trade his soul if it gave him more swag or cool points.
The Jeep keeps breaking, so I want to trade it in. Unfortunately I don't think that's going to happen because I might be getting laid off next week.
I drive a Civic, but am tired of going unnoticed and want to pull the plug on one of these.
Please talk me out of it!
I put 2K miles on my car every month. Really the ONLY reason I won't buy one.
If I start working closer or move or something I am gonna buy one.
The amount I spend on fuel now would be equivalent it seems for repairs over time.
Would keep it factory. Only thing I'd like is a big brake kit all around. But who knows. And I also have a '12 R1 to hold me over. Trust me I'm use to cops profiling me like a nigger.
My daily drive srt-4 with a gtx 272 turbo set up
Then my show car, use it to go to shows, going to the ice cream fest coming up soon, you might see me there if anyone is going.
Dream one is a CSL.
If you drive that much just get it as a going out/fun car. I only drive my car if I have to go further than 5 miles, otherwise I will walk or bike. Fuckin turbos are fun but waste sooo much gas. When I drive normally though my MPG's are great.
Oh yeah would never daily drive unless I some how strike rich and don't have to work anymore.
I am a chef and am always greasy and nasty as fuck when I get off work. I leave and have all kinds of weeks worth of food stuck on the tread of my shoes. Would NEVER put those on the floor of a good car.
Also, this one for sale but too much. Like $34K w/ comp package.
Not even worth it. I read sob stories what seems like every day about m3s on oppositelock. Just today on jalopnik there was a story. Granted it was an e30, but a $7000 rebuild ballooned to $25,000, and the shop fucked up with the valve clearances and stripped it out using SAE bolts rather than metric.
I make decent money, 72k a year, and I fucking LOVE cars, but I still drive a legacy ft rather than an m3, which I would love myself.
love the gas millage. that's the car that taught me how to drive stick.
I drive a 66 mustang as my DD
I've lived like a bum for over 2 years now.
I have saved big to open my own store with my boss but goddamn it's hard saving. I swear to you aside from the bike I've spent only like $3 to $400 on personal items in 2 years.
I don't buy shit.
Want something nice.
I rented an Aveo once when I was getting work done on my car. Biggest piece of shit I've ever driven. Maybe not bad in the city but sucked cock on the highway and going up and down mountain to/from my house.
Only picture I have of it.
My nigga.. Looks unmolested as fuck, very nice 10/10 would rape my na silly trying to keep up
Meant Legacy GT, obviously. I cross shopped it with an S4, but I've owned an S car before and the repairs, oh god my ass. I was happysad when a Pocquet Auto mechanic crashed it to death. I got a maxima, which I hated, then the legacy gt, which is perfect for my income level and nearly perfect for my performance needs.
The spark was ok in city/highway usage. I do agree though it struggled on hills though. It felt like it was about to give up and just stop on some of the hills in San Diego and that's not saying much. Apart from that it was a bit slow getting to 65, but nonetheless it got there and averaged about 30mpg overall.
Nice car, been thinking about dipping my wagon matte white as well.
Sold the black one after a wreck. Now own the grey,
First truck I owned. Driving a 2500 ultra duty now but don't have pics.
Whenever I tried it I couldn't stand it. Just sounded bad, maybe it's the phone but iunno.
The bluetooth music though... I'm looking into an aftermarket radio for my car now just for HD radio and bluetooth streaming.
2JZ bros - nice cars! Mine's a '97 SC300 - one of only 120 JZZ31 bodies that made it to the US with a manual transmission.
I'm about to throw a set of MKIV Supra seats into this guy due to my head hitting the roof... fucking sucks.
The piece of shit I drove would barely spin the tires going up one way to my house.
Like a sort of steep hairpin corner on old, outdated, medieval type fucking concrete in the wet too.
Extremely touchy brakes and understeer in the wet like a son of a bitch too.
Was fun to beat up though.
my 86 mercedes 300e
not bad for a sedan
Here are my other two - a 1990 FC3S Mazda RX-7 Turbo and a 2002 Audi A4 quattro 1.8T (which will be sold within the week - in case anyone is considering a B6 generation Audi: don't. Just fucking don't. I've owned it for five years/40,000mi)
It's very tidy, only done a couple of mods to it.
The turbo's are a real letdown though, its nice coming from an NA to twins but the power delivery with sequential turbos feels shit.
Feels like a good thread to ask. What should my first car be? I dont want a Jap car (NO HONDA'S. I hate them. Was raised by a VW/Audi/Porche Father who brought me to Waterfeast every year and have many amazing Audis and VWs, including S4's, a R32 20th Aniversery GTi he fucked up drag racing like a retard, and many classics, like Vanigons and Old Beetles we'd fix up), but i actually wouldnt mind some Nissans or Acuras. Im thinking maybe a 90's GTI VR6 or some shit, but i dont know. Id also like one I can drive for awhile, be reliable, and perhaps even fix up and build.
The Bose stereo system in it is amazing. I don't even feel the need to nigger it up with a separate sub/amp. Rides smooth as fuck too.
I've been working on this one for a year or so, fast as hell now.
Then buy a v6 accord.
Or one of these:
That's a couple years old. They redid the article really recently like the past week but I can't find it.
Honestly dude, I'd seriously consider an S2000. Keep that Honda reliability and low cost of ownership (for a sports car, that is) and still stand out from the crowd and have something exciting.
I'm not a Honda "fanboy" or anything, but I've driven lots of cars and have a thing for RWD coupes, and they're definitely one of my favorites.
2007 Ford Focus zx5 pushing about ten pounds of boost
My 2002 CLK55 AMG, 350hp and nearly 400lb/ft torque. I love it, even though it gets like 13mpg.
Naa would never own a 6 cylinder Accord.
That E46 (As well as E36 and E39 gens) have made my dick wet for years though. Dream car. The CSL especially. Holy fuck and that sound of the CSL for when people are at a distance, in front of you, and it's quiet out.
Sound better than all other cylinders sounds.
I have one of these in my garage that I'm in the process of restoring.
This is what I hope the finished product will look like
An M1078/1079 Would be even cooler if you can find one.
I ride a R1 pic related and every time i see a scooter I just think that the rider is a faggot and has a boyfriend lol
My car, it's dank as shit I know. Girls love it, great gas mileage, and everyone always wants to check it out.
HIS daughter does.
I drive one too which is why I said that.
Bike was a horrible purchase. Too much for the street. Even a 600 is too much.
I can't wait to make all the fanboys melt here when I start timestamping my car like I do my bike from time to time.
Isuzu VchiCross, has a nice v6 in it but sounds fucking great. Put some 35" tires and moto metal rims on it.
Too much, plain and simple. Will do 90+ in 1st without having to bounce off the limiter. Can't even get out of 1st hardly in town unless in the fucking B mode bullshit.
Anything with an R in it is for a track. Enough said. I learned that the hard way and it cost me $13K but oh well.
how retarded are you?. You can easily go around town doing 50kmh in 3rd gear at about 3k rpm. You just sound like a shit rider that doesn't understand how to use a gear box and think that riding around at 10k rpm is the thing to do
MY Honda EG hatch :D
You don't understand. I am not the only one with the problem. Clutch is jerky as a mother fucker on the Crossplane engine. I wish they'd recall it so I don't have to spare money and time on the Graves fix bullshit.
I have three modes.
STD, A and B.
When riding at low RPM's, in A and STD mode the thing will NOT stay at a steady pace at low speeds. You are either on too much or too liddle and it jerks and slows. B mode feels like something is wrong with the bike.
Go post on the R1 forums about the issue. Some sponsored riders have the SAME problem with the CP engine until they put an aftermarket clutch on.
2014 Accord. Pretty stable ride and good economy. Its mostly my daily drive to work and school. Also have an Audi TT RS available, but its my bro's main ride anyways. We share cars.
Your confirmed for either being a new rider pretending to be a 1337 motogp hero are a wannabe rider. the 02 r1 doesn't have ridding modes it was made when bikes had all the power all the time. It doesn't even have steering dampening and if you really do have a new R1 with electronics package their is nothing wrong with them. they are almost perfect
Sorta like the family on /b/, faggot
have the exact same thing, selling it very soon, got a good offer on an srt8 core, and a good deal on the trade in for this, so im happy as hell
my 93 240sx with a garrett 60 trim Gt35r, stage 3 cams with advance timing, stainless valves, stock size springs and retainers, custom cam gears, all head work is brian cower. bottom end is Eagle H-Beam rods with pop-up CP pistons with fully balanced forged Brian Cower crank. ARP head studs with Fire Rings with the Cometic head gasket makes it practically impossible to blow the head gasket. i run 18 pounds on 800cc injectors all powered by a tompeii. Custom down pipe and straight side exhaust made by me in my muffler shop, well, my fathers lol. I call him "frank" short for Frankenstein. I brought a 400 dollar 240sx up on cinder blocks back from the brink of death to something that rules the streets.
>if you really do have a new R1 with electronics package their is nothing wrong with them. they are almost perfect
Someone clearly has never ridden a near stock one then!
Admittedly I am no pro, but there are pros who bitch about the same thing I've read.
Also intercooler is god speed, they surprisingly make a damn good one lol. next order of business is suspension. Final will be roll cage and all safety equipment.
2004 jeep grand cherokee
employee discount for working at team chrysler.
2001 maxima daily driven. My first love. The grill isn't red anymore
Not enough power, im getting the top model, the srt8 core, besides the hellcat, but i dont have that kind of money, this is the stock model, I was in the market for another car and i had my eyes set on an 06 corvette but when i got to the dealership, this was on the showroom floor, so i was like yes, its the basemodel which sucks but when i get my new one, im getting that shit way past 500hp
Used to have an e46, began having a lot of issues with it.
Won't lie the E90's look OK but don't seem to be as solid as the 46's.
This one was for sale in FL for $23K near perfect. 60K ish on it if I remember.
Gonna have to experience it first hand soon I guess.
2006 honda accord master race reporting in
Thanks bro, this is the exact thing im getting, i test drove one yesterday to see how it was, i was hitting 100 in third gear, i fucking loved it, havent had that much fun driving a car in a long time
Who the fuck buys a super bike and leaves it stock. the fact is the problems you described are from being a shit rider not the bike lel and I bet your amerifat and have to have that emission sensor shit and if that's the case ya your fueling would be fucked and you need to re map it yourself.
Alright ill post it again, sucks that its only a v6, my challenger is also a v6 but its a good thing im trading it in soon for something way more powerful. anyways i like the look
the MKIV's all came with 2jz's, unless someone did a swap
Those rims are sick. I also had a 135i for about two years. That car was great but understeered slightly at the limit. E46 M3 is one of my favorite looking cars ever for sure but my 335 has the Performance pack and AFE cold air intake so its at about 340hp. Awesome car.
I've done a little to it.
Flush mounts, new adjustable levers, fender elim and soma LED's on the rear.
I have been want a full Akra system but honestly I don't even get to ride much. 1700mi in like a year and 4 months.
picked it up just last december
If your in amerifat get the ecu flashed and the fueling mapped it will fix any issues you have with fueling and unlocking the ecu gives you about an extra 10hp without a new exhaust with a full system you would be looking at a extra 15 gain
2011 Camaro 2SS (fully loaded)
Mods: Basic bolts ons..
Kooks LT Headers
Video related, this is how my Camaro sounds, but I can never get a good enough sound from camera or anyone else's to match this quality.
Video doesn't do it justice to be honest though, you have to hear it in person to truly appreciate it.
The only thing you should get is an srt8 or higher, my eyes were too mesmerized by the challenger that i have now (black one) that i said fuck it to the v6 because of all the goodies, rims, red and black leather interior etc etc, but the power is so different in the challengers, dont get a v6 in a sportscar, like ever
Eh all BMW's sexy as fuck.
Considering doing quite a bit, but honestly have lost interest in riding a lot. I work so much man.
Also, I bought two 3 inch each LED strips I want to mount somewhere.. My rear footpegs would be good but the area I want them heats to the point where you cannot hold your hand on the section of the peg. Gonna work or no?
My DD 2000 C5 Corvette. Full bolt ons, targa top
My old man recently got himself an 86, there an absolute dream to drive, much fun. They really do need a turbo or supercharger for that bit of extra kick though.
Do you plan on doing any mods to yours?
wish i had a picture of the car i'm going to be working on its a 68 chevelle malibu hadn't seen it in person yet but from what i hear its not in the best condition but it will be fucking worth it after its done being restored(atleast i think so)
Are volkwagens any good? I'm looking to get rid of my civic and go volkwagen. Shit has no power behind it.
Nah fuck a v6 I'd never get a muscle car without a v8 I just love the sound and the power. Would like a srt8 but the r/t model has a v8 and about 375 horsepower which sounds good to me.
Meh I really do like the C6 and C7 better, just was out of my price range. Planning on a C6 next
kind of like this but mine are bigger
Me too, but when it feels like youre driving a toyota corolla because theres no power, youve got a problem, the challenger i have now has no oomf, you floor it and it just doesnt do anything, v6s are a no-go in my book, thats why after having it for like a month i decided i wasnt going to put a single dime into it because i knew i made a mistake buying it and i was going to sell it, the next one i get, which will be soon will have a corsa xtreme on it, for starters. the sound system is really nice in there so i dont need to tamper with that
These stick on. They are like strips.
c6s do look better than the c5s by a hair IMO, but the c7's tail looks fucking retarded.
out here wildin. 2000 vw
u guys aint got nothing on my van
At first I hated the tail lights too but once I saw the car in person I was able to overlook at it. The power the car makes stock is great, combined with the interior I'd give my left nut for one
THIS THA WHIP
These 2005 ones are so shitty. The entire model year was lemons
You can fit a ton of shit in the back though
The tail looks dumber in person. Its all blingy and stupid. The c6 was a much nicer understated body. Like, more than 10 years on and the c6 still looks good. The c7 is going to look retarded and dated 10 years on. Interior and power notwithstanding though.
thanks bro, this is what i was originally going to buy when i went to the dealership but sometimes you find something better
Motorbikes take some balls to ride, 0-60 in 3 seconds and 60-0 in half that as your ass gets blown into your skull
The huge pickup trucks like the pic related are the ones notorious for small dick drivers.
My goal is to remove my current elim kit, mount my license plate under the fender further (you know like the squidfags) and use the strips as my turn signal. You can see them much better than my current.
