I like to think of it more as efficient. I don't really need an emotional attachment. I talk to my family once a week, I have a couple friends that I see every now and then. That pretty well satisfies my desire for human companionship.

I'm looking to satisfy the physical desires though. I wouldn't be opposed to befriending this girl, if we happen to be compatible, that's fine. I just, personally, don't need or actively want that.

My parents have about the level of wealth I'm on track to have when I'm their age. I have a good relationship with them, we are on close terms, and I credit them quite a bit with whatever success I have found in life. They did pay for my college education.
