I found a way to make a shit load of money but it took some time.

You go to the dessert and then buy kebobs from the store for 2 each and then each one sells for 40 guaranteed in the grand exchange. Buy sell repeat, ive made over 360k that way

I used to travel all across the land, about level 42 or 45 and saw the whole world. It was pretty fun since runescape had a bunch of unique and memorable places, and the situations I got into were pretty intense and fun, like being stuck at the top of a mountain with no health and surrounded by wolves.
it was fun until the game was ruined by the devs and everyone did mass quittings

I was scammed out of my suit of full black armor in 2004 back on RS Classic by changing my password in game to moneybags and hitting shift+f5 (or something that shut my window) because somebody told me it was a cheat for more money. I was like level 105 combat when the dragon chainmail chest came out and then I quit and never made a real comeback. Those were the days though.

~2004 or so, running around the wilderness and seeing 100 lvl 30-50's in f2p wrecking anything they saw.

All I ever did was PK, so all my memories are killing green dragons for loot or pk'ing.

I had ancient magiks and could Entangle and blast with Ice while the rest of team would use arrows and melee and shit to kill whoever we were fighting. Spent HOURS doing it, used to be so much fun. Was part of a small clan and we all really enjoyed it, even made some real life long term friends from it too.

Yeah, I actually started Runescape right when Runescape 2 was released, so you might imagine my nostalgia feels, when I went through all the best RS years back in a day. That is 2003-2006. Quit rs actively in early 2007. Returned once in 2009 and then in 2010. Last time I played rs was last year when OSRS (2007 version) was released, I played first full month, then I realized the game wasn't the same anyway). Probably never going to play this again, but damn, some serious amount of childhood memories are within this game.

At 12-13 I quit for the most part and kinda just moved on to WoW directly after, which is only marginally better now. I almost want to go back and play RS now for nostalgia. There was a player, named "bluerose13x" who was able to make rune armor (she was one of the few that could do this as this was very early on), and did it for free if given rune bars...she got free XP and they got rune armor made out of the rune bars. So, a lot of people showed up in this little house with an anvil, it was crowded...probably about 30-40 people standing on top of each other. So, I created an account named "blurose13x" or something similar, then went to the anvil and started trading with people and taking all of their rune bars. Was fun/evil times.

It's true though. I'm fairly certain quite a few of the oldtimers have gone through this. I had a friend too - Tsunade0 - whom I met killing goblins or some shit outside of the Al-Kharid gate. I split my meager moneybux with him so we could pass together. We fought, mined, crafted and pretty much lived our virtual lives together in RS. Gave the first mithril plate I found to him, and he later passed me a ragtag suit of adamentite in return. We grew and became fairly un-noob, braving the Karamja volcano dungeon, distributing our lobsters. Then he just dosappeared. Whenever I'm reminded of RS, I can't help but wonder what happened to him/her... Friendships and loyalty was so strong back in those pleb days, which made the adventures soooo fun.

Logged in, still had my millions, but I don't know what the shit I'm looking at anymore? I thought this was runescape, not WoW with its fucking hotbars and shit.
