I think a punk, like so many of us were where we blurred the lines from one to the other punk and goth ... it was about being original, or at least more original if possible. Recreating a look from 1985 in 2012 is not original, an more then the 90's hippie chicks were original as they hoped they would be.

As I remember it, attitude was as important as clothing. There is so much feel then, I know it was two-thirds BS, every generation has that feel. It just manifests so differently, when its a recreation of something I remember as a kid.
