First of all, the OP is an awful person for doing this, but there is a way to recover those files.

1. Remove drive from computer (figure it out)
2. Find a strong magnet, the strongest you can find
3. Rub the magnet on the drive for five minutes in one direction. This actually restores the drive to the state it was in previously. Your computer should work as normal.
